Start-Line. Eye-Line. Tempo. Three keys that make or break your putting stroke.
Start-Line
If your putt doesn’t start on the right line, nothing else matters. Training your face angle and stroke path with feedback tools helps you hit your intended start line, every time.
Eye-Line
Where your eyes are positioned affects everything:
Too far inside = pulled putts/ Too far outside = pushed putts. Keep your eyes just over or slightly inside the ball to gain better aim and stroke stability.
Tempo
Good tempo = good touch. Work on smooth acceleration, consistent rhythm, and avoid decelerating at impact. The best players feel the tempo in their core—not in their hands.
Use a Wellputt mat to combine all three elements. Train your start-line using the printed guides. Check your eye-line using a mirror or vertical alignment markers. Improve tempo with metronome drills or structured reps. Work on the fundamentals. Let the results speak on the course.
