We offer SSI Instructor Training Courses here at our resort on the island of Koh Tao in Thailand.The course lasts for 9-11 days and maximum group size is six candidates. SSI evaluates to a higher standard than our most other agencies requiring 90% in the 100 question multiple choice final exam, a 30 minute academic presentation, a swim test, then 'on the spot' open water and confined presentations over two full days. Despite this, we boast a 100% success rate for all our previous candidates and offer a guaranteed pass or we cover the costs if you need to be re-evaluated at a later date. After the course, we offer an internship program here at Big Blue where you have the opportunity to teach alongside our senior instructors to gain experience and your first student certifications, this also includes an upgrade to Advanced Open Water Instructor and at least 8 Specialty Instructor ratings. We then guarantee you at least one course of your own, for which you will be paid, and the opportunity to work for us as a freelancer. Should you get itchy feet, we can offer you positions at SSI dive shops around South East Asia. There are currently more positions open than we have
instructors to fill them. We schedule our SSI ITC's for the last 2 weeks of every month, although we
are usually able to offer flexibility with these dates should candidates
