What does it mean to be an Eagle Ray?

It's about facing challenges with a positive attitude! Our seventh and final pillar is Embrace the Challenge.

We are relentlessly positive, embracing every challenge as an opportunity for growth. We maintain mental toughness, and we radiate passion and optimism. When things are tough, we turn setbacks into learning opportunities and focus on what we can control.

As it says in Romans 8:28, we know that God works for the good of those who love him. We are inspired by this truth and inspire our teammates through our unwavering spirit.

What does it mean to be an Eagle Ray?

It's about living out our values! Our sixth pillar is Uphold Our Standards.

We consistently choose to do what is right and demonstrate unwavering integrity. We know what our team stands for and we embody those standards, even when it's difficult. We proactively solve problems for the team's long-term health and character.

As it says in Matthew 5:37, our word is our bond. We live our core covenants and set a clear example for others to follow.

What does it mean to be an Eagle Ray?

It's about loyalty and guardianship! Our fifth pillar is Protect the Team.

As loyal guardians, we fiercely defend our teammates and coaches. We never criticize publicly, we welcome new members, and we support each other in upholding our team's standards.

As it says in Proverbs 17:17, a friend loves at all times. We are a family, here to support each other through thick and thin.

It's about celebrating every person's unique contribution! Our fourth pillar is Value All Roles.

We know that every single person, every contribution, and every role is vital to our team's success. As Eagle Rays, we actively praise and acknowledge the efforts of all our teammates, building collective confidence and a truly inclusive environment.

Just as it says in 1 Corinthians 12:20-22, every part of the body is important. This is how we make our team strong.

What does it mean to be an Eagle Ray?

It's about fostering trust through clear and honest dialogue! Our third pillar is Communicate with Integrity.

As Eagle Rays, we speak directly and truthfully, especially in tough conversations. We also listen more than we talk to truly understand one another. This helps us build a strong, honest team where everyone feels heard.

As it says in Ephesians 4:15, by speaking the truth in love, we grow together as a team. This is a vital link that helps us address issues constructively and support one another.

It's about modeling excellence in everything we do! Our second pillar is Lead by Example.

Our actions speak louder than words. As Eagle Rays, we are the first to work hard, the most disciplined, and maintain our composure even when things get tough. We set the standard for our teammates in attitude, work ethic, and poise.

As it says in 1 Timothy 4:12, we set an example for others in the way we talk, behave, and show our faith and love.

What does it mean to be an Eagle Ray?

It's more than just swimming fast; it's about building character and putting our team first. The first of our 7 pillars is Serve First.

This means being a Servant Leader—someone who is the first to help with equipment, to clean up, and to support a struggling teammate. We find purpose and privilege in contributing to the team's success, not just our own.

As it says in Philippians 2:3-4, we are called to value others above ourselves. This is the foundation of who we are as a team.
