Lush green do to the Summer rains before the Monsoon season. The air is fresh, and visibility greater then dry season, but climbing can be done sporadically in between the rains or at the window wall even if it is raining if you don't mind walking in the rain.

Kaen county has an endless number of Sandstone boulders, Some developed and some not, Potential for new hundreds of lines to be established, The season for bouldering is from November to March, if you'll like to visit Thailand for climbing you should add Khon Kaen county to your list. The Owl Baby wall, not to far from Covert crag, and in the shade all day, shorter lines but harder, clean and overhung, 20m high. We did clean the access trail to the wall, 5min walk from the road. Meta Lee, Fallen Book Mallika Jecan and Gavriel Jecan.

Great day, and work yesterday with Mallika Jecan, We went to the Sport Climbing area to work on a new line. Managed to bolt one of the steepest line at the window wall, we name it for now Wild Lotus, being by the Buddhist temple area, I thought the name is appropriate, Thank you Teruk ( Mallika Jecan )for the belay and catching my fall, right now there are 9 bolts on the line and will continue over the upper overhung with, probably additional 4 to 5 bolts and anchor.
