Hello Zonte Yoga community 🤍

As we move into rainy season, rooftop yoga at Garten Hotel will be taking a little pause 🌧️

I’m so grateful for this past season, for the space, the sunsets, and the beautiful community that showed up week after week to breathe, move, and connect. It’s been really special to share these moments together.

In the meantime, we’ll be offering private yoga, one-on-one or group classes, in your home, Airbnb, or hotel. There are also some exciting projects in the works, so stay tuned ✨

Thank you for being part of it 🤍

I’m not usually one to share much about my personal life, and I do believe some things are better left unsaid. But I feel I owe it to my community to share a bit about why I haven’t been as present lately.

Over the past several years, I’ve been really pushing myself, trying to find my place, build something meaningful, and keep things going. Along the way, I’ve had so many beautiful experiences and met so many wonderful people, but somewhere in it all I lost a sense of balance.

Last year, that really caught up with me. I hit a level of burnout that made even the simplest things feel heavy, and it became hard to show up the way I used to. It forced me to take a deeper look at how I’ve been living and where my energy has been going.

I didn’t start yoga or salsa as a business. I did it from a place of love, to share what changed my life and to bring people together. And I’m so grateful for everything that’s come from that.

But I struggled to find the balance between giving and sustaining myself. I kept pushing through exhaustion, getting sick, and not fully listening to what I really needed.

This time has taught me a lot. that passion still needs boundaries, and that giving has to include yourself too.

Right now, I’m focusing on creating a healthier, more sustainable way forward. I’ll still be putting my energy into retreats and new projects, continuing to explore what this next chapter looks like.

I don’t have all the answers yet, but I can already feel that I’m on the right path, and although it’s a little scary, I’m also excited for what’s ahead.

Thank you for always being here and for supporting me on this journey 🤍

I’m still taking it all in after teaching my first Yin class on Friday. It was such a meaningful moment for me, and I feel so grateful.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and inspired me throughout this whole process. From the teachers who shared their wisdom, to the beautiful people I trained with, to everyone who showed up for the class and to Kiri for the beautiful space, your energy and kindness have meant more than you know.

Yin has been such a grounding part of my life lately, helping me slow down in a way I didn’t even realize I needed. Being able to share that same softness and stillness with others felt incredibly special… and honestly, a little emotional.

Thank you for believing in me, for showing up, and for being part of this new chapter. I’m so excited to keep growing, learning, and sharing this practice. 🤍

Hello Zonte Yoga Community.
Everyone keeps asking what I’ve been up to and why I’m not in El Salvador right now. I’ll share more soon… but for now, I want to tell you about one thing I’ve been doing lately that has completely transformed my life: Yin Yoga.

Since arriving in Toronto, I’ve been going to yin religiously every week-honestly, I wish I could go even more. It’s changed me in ways I didn’t expect. I’ve always been such a “yang-ster,” always on the go, moving fast, doing all the things… but yin has shown me how deeply I need the other side of the balance. The slowing down. The softening. The space to actually feel.

And because it’s had such an impact on me, I decided to take a Yin Teacher Training, and I’m so excited (and a little emotional) to share that I’ll be teaching my first Yin class on December 5th.

If you’ve been craving more stillness, balance, grounding, or just a chance to breathe… I hope you’ll come try it. Yin meets you exactly where you are. You don’t have to be flexible or experienced, just open to slowing down.

Has Yin changed your life too? Or maybe you’re curious to see what it could shift for you.

I can’t wait to share this practice with you. 🧡December 5th, 7pm

Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.

We spend so much time looking ahead, chasing the next thing, that we forget to notice what’s right beneath us. Sometimes, the beauty, the lessons, and the moments we seek are already here—if we just take a second to notice what’s below us.
