TRUE STORY: In Northern Bahr El Ghazal, Aweil, there’s a place called Majok in Aweil East County near the Sudan border. It boasts the biggest hotel in the area, which is also considered a 5-star Hotel. A single night’s stay costs SSP 50,000.
However, there's an unusual warning that reads: "If you fear snakes or scorpions, please don’t stay at our hotel."
For those familiar with Aweil, they can confirm this.
