CALL FOR AN EMERGENCY MEETING OF GREATER AKOP INTELLECTUALS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS

Dear Intellectuals and Leaders of Greater Akop,
In light of the ongoing conflict affecting Tonj, particularly Greater Akop, there is an urgent need for our people to come together, put aside differences, and openly discuss a peaceful and practical way forward.
I therefore call upon the following leaders and representatives to urgently convene an Emergency Greater Akop Meeting:

Greater Akop Community Leader,Apuk Padoc Community Leader, Lou Community Leader, Lou Paher Community Leader, Awan Parek Community Leadership, Konggor Community Leadership, Constituency No. 10 National Member of Parliament, Greater Akop Intellectuals, Youth Leaders and Students’ Leaders.

Purpose of the Meeting

The meeting is intended to provide a platform for our intellectuals and community leaders to:

1. Identify the root causes and interests driving the conflict.
2. Develop a collective emergency response to protect our people and communities.
3. Promote dialogue, reconciliation and peaceful coexistence among affected communities.
4.Prevent external interests from exploiting divisions among our people.
5.Agree on practical steps that can lead to lasting peace and stability.

Greater Akop needs its intellectuals, leaders, youths and students to rise to wake up and act as soon as possible.
This is not a time for blame or division. It is a time for sober thinking, unity, dialogue and collective responsibility.
“The rescue of our people must begin with us. Our greatest strength is our ability to sit together, think together and act together.”

RE: RESIGNATION LETTER – ASSISTANT COACH POSITION.

With deep respect and a heart full of gratitude, I write to formally resign from my position as Assistant Coach of Apuk Padoc Football Team, Makur Wol. This decision comes after our historic victory, where we lifted the Tonj North Peace Tournament trophy for the first time in the history of our team.

This moment will remain the proudest of my coaching career. To achieve this together with the players, the technical team and management have been a great honor. I am stepping down at this peak so that I can pursue other personal and professional commitments and also to allow new ideas to help the team grow further.

My sincere appreciation goes to:
The Team Players: Thank you for your discipline, hard work, and belief. You fought for every ball and made history for Apuk Padoc FT. I am proud of each one of you.

The Entire Staff & Management: Thank you for the support, trust, and unity you showed me since day one. From the president, coaches, medical team, kit manager, to all volunteers – you made me feel like home.

The Fans & Community: Your prayers and support pushed us through every tough match in Tonj North.

Apuk Padoc FT will always have a special place in my heart. I will continue to support and cheer for the team from the sidelines. I am ready to assist with a smooth handover of all training plans and player records before my last day.

Please accept this letter as my official resignation, effective today, 15th July 2026. Thank you for the opportunity to serve and for the memories we created together.

Once again, congratulations to Apuk Padoc FT on making history. May more trophies come.

Congratulations to Apuk-padoc FT for being crowned the defending champion of the Tonj North Peace tournament after beating Nyang Akoch 3 to 0. Apuk-padoc FT deserves more than just this trophy 🏆. Apuk-padoc FT can represent South Sudan globally and will surely bring home the trophy again.

TNPT Juba management officially disqualifies both Lou Mawien Ariik and Lou Ariik Mawien that were representing two payams Majak and Alabek over repeated conflicts and misuse of similar names, causing confusion and disruption during the peace tournament.

A Captain’s Salute: Wilson Wutchok Dhaldit’s Support Pays Apuk Padoc’s Participation Fee for Tonj North Peace Tournament.

I stand here today not just as captain of Apuk Padoc Team, but as a proud son of this community, to give special thanks to Wilson Wutchok Dhal.

Uncle Wilson, you are an elder we all respect. When Apuk Padoc needed to register for the Tonj North Peace Tournament, you did not wait. You stepped up and paid the full 600,000 SSP participation fee for us.

That support means our boots will touch the field. It means the name of Apuk Padoc will be heard. And most of all, it means you believe in peace through football, and in the youth of this community.

As a true football lover from the Arsenal family, you always stand with us. Wut Arteta is proud of you, and your Apuk Padoc family is prouder.

OFFICIAL DISQUALIFICATION NOTICE!!

This notice serves to officially communicate the disqualification of the teams Lou Mawien and Lou Ariik from the ongoing Tonj North Peace Tournament.

The decision has been reached after careful review of persistent and unresolved issues concerning the use of both names within the tournament.

Despite efforts by the organizing committee to mediate and provide clear guidance, the matter has remained unsettled and has disrupted the smooth running, fairness, and integrity of the competition.

The continued use of both identities without mutual agreement or official clarification has created confusion among organizers, participants, and supporters.

As a result, and in the interest of maintaining order, transparency, and respect among all competing teams, the committee has deemed it necessary to take decisive action.

Therefore, both Lou Mawien and Lou Ariik teams are hereby disqualified from the tournament with immediate effect.

The organizing committee regrets this outcome but emphasizes that adherence to tournament rules and unity among participants are essential for the success of the Tonj North Peace Tournament.
