The Organizing Committee of the Lakes State Olympic officially dismisses the third place game between Yirol East and Rumbek East for both failing to turn up at the designated time of 2:30 PM on 15th June 2024 at Buluk Training Ground.

Updates Regarding the Verification and Confirmation Process of the Lists from the Two Counties.

The organizing committee of Lakes State Olympic has received the squad lists from Cueibet and Rumbek North. The two lists of the men's squads were cross-checked by the committee and the respective delegates of the counties. All advancing discrepancies were unanimously addressed by the committee, confirming them for the final status of the games.

The third-place match between Yirol East and Rumbek East is confirmed to take place on 15th June 2025, as communicated two weeks earlier. There will be no extensions or delays due to the unfolding circumstances affecting the committee's ability to reschedule this fixed date.

The final event podium will be gracefully shared by the most outstanding commentators, such as Athiei Malou and Deva Peter Dorro, who will make the event both hilarious and amusing. Additionally, the committee urges the general assembly of Lakes State to adhere to the existing protocols and maintain the spirit of "Lakes First!"

UPDATES ON THE LAKES STATE OLYMPICS PREPARATION FOR THE THIRD PLACE AND FINAL GAME.

The Lakes State Olympics organizing committee held a meeting on 13th June 2025 with specific directives regarding the third place and final games, as outlined below:

1. Yirol East and Rumbek East should submit their squad lists by 10:30 AM on Saturday, 14th June 2025, for verification and confirmation of the native players.

2. The third place match between Yirol East and Rumbek East is scheduled to take place at 2:30 PM on Sunday, 15th June 2025, at Buluk Training Ground. The entrance fee is 2,000 SSP only.

3. Rumbek North and Cueibet are requested to submit their squad lists for verification and confirmation of their native players by 10:30 AM on 15th June 2025 at Buluk Training Ground. The final match is scheduled for 16th June 2025 at 2:30 PM, and the entrance fee is 3,000 SSP only.

The organizing committee is pleased to invite all accredited domestic media houses (Yirol East TV, Rumbek East Media, Gok Media, Lakes State Media, and South Sudan Sports Media) to a brief press conference today afternoon at Buluk Training Ground.
