The Deputy Minister of Sports, Mr. Ahmed Omar Islow, who met last monday with the STSF General Secretary Mr. Mohamed Abdi Mudey, and the ITSF President Mr. Farid Lounas, renewed their support to the development of Foosball in Somalia, which is officially recognized as a sport in the country since 2021.
All are very happy to be working together for the upbringing of youth through foosball.

We are looking forward to meeting Somali Table Soccer Federation - STSF's athletes to the ITSF World Cup 2022 in Nantes!

The ITSF is very happy to reveal the sixth country to join the "100 Foosball Tables for Schools" project! 🌍
On the 14th of July, Somali Table Soccer Federation - STSF and the ITSF signed the agreement serving as the framework for the implementation of the project in Somalia!

The Tournament Assessment Commission is coming back soon!
The new team of the TAC is composed of Julian Timnev (President), Abbas Babapour, Wolfgang Breuer, Frederico Cappa, Karsten Kuckhoff, Christophe Lerat, Franco Lupusella, Elli McDonald and Brittany McDonald

The main task the commission has is to provide support and guidance to foosball tournament organisers all around the world.

Congratulations to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and to the National Federation of Somalia - Somali Table Soccer Federation and to its President, Mr Abdullahi Jeylani Mohamed for their commitment to develop Table Soccer in their country!

Table Soccer is now officially recognized as a Sport by the National Olympic Commitee. Table soccer has become increasingly popular in Somalia lately, as evidenced by the fact that the Somali Table Soccer Federation has recently joined the International Table Soccer Federation. Somalia's foos community is undoubtedly an incredible asset for the development of Table Soccer in the world.
