Sba Sphinx

The Wageningen University Basketballteam Sphinx Sphinx is the Basketball Club of Wageningen University & Research.

With our club, players of all skill levels, from amateur to experienced, can compete in the NBB. We also provide trainings for beginners and recreational sessions. Regardless of your basketball background, we have something for you! Our club is currently composed of 2 Men’s Teams and 1 Women’s Team. Our professional coaches will always ensure high-quality trainings and will provide insights into p

ersonal growth for all the members throughout the season. The overall goal of Sphinx is to create a Family for all its members. Sphinx is an international basketball club, as more than half of our members are international. We practice several days a week and we compete in competitions and mixed tournaments but we also enjoy off-court activities organized by our board such as BBQs, drinking (lots of) beer, watching movies, partying, and generally celebrating the good life we have here in Wageningen. We hope that you would like to be a part of our club/family and to enjoy what we offer to our members: Family, Competition, Fun, Basketball

Binnenkort zullen wij de 60ste verjaardag van SBA Sphinx vieren. Tijdens dit 12de lustrum willen we oud leden die iets voor de vereniging hebben betekend graag betrekken bij dit bijzondere weekend 🔥 🔥

Was jij ooit onderdeel van deze Sphinx ‘family’? 💛
Dan is dit je moment om ons bij te wonen en je herinneringen te herleven, oud teamgenoten te spreken, huidig leden te ontmoeten en met ons te vieren hoe ver Sphinx gekomen is!

We zijn trots dat we jullie mogen uitnodigen voor ons 12de feest, een speciaal evenement gevuld met nostalgie, leuke activiteiten en natuurlijk basketbal!
