🎯 Call for Expressions of Interest: Harness the Power of Sport for Sustainable Development 🌍
The Coalition for Sustainable Development through Sport is launching its first Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify high-potential, investment-ready projects that could form part of the initial pipeline of the Global Sport Impact Fund (GSIF), an innovative blended finance vehicle currently under structuring.
👉 Are you leading a sport-driven initiative with a viable financial model and a strong social, environmental, or educational impact? This is your opportunity to join a global ecosystem mobilizing public, philanthropic, and private capital to scale sport for development.
📌 Priority investment areas:
1️⃣ Inclusive community sports infrastructure
2️⃣ Human capital development initiatives (academies, skills training…)
3️⃣ Multi-functional sport and wellness hubs
4️⃣ Community-based sport for development programs
🔎 Who can apply?
Public authorities, NGOs, sports federations, social enterprises, PPP consortia… If your project is locally anchored, impact-driven, and financially sound, you may be eligible.
This call is global in scope: projects based in emerging and developing economies are strongly encouraged, but high-impact initiatives from other regions may also be considered where they offer strong demonstration value or catalytic potential.
💶 Indicative investment range:
The Fund will consider financing requests between EUR 500,000 and EUR 5 million, depending on project type, maturity, and risk profile.
📅 Submission deadline: 30 September 2025
📝 Apply now: https://gsif.coalition-sport.org/
📄 The application form is available in English, French and Spanish.
⚠️ This EOI is a preliminary step and does not constitute a call for projects with guaranteed funding. Shortlisted proposals will be pre-qualified for potential due diligence and investment consideration after the Fund’s target first closing.
📣 Take this unique opportunity to mobilize resources and position your project at the forefront of sport-led development.
