Mogbwemo Queens FC successfully hosted the 4th edition of its Excellence Awards & Dinner on Saturday, 23rd May 2026, at the Sidami Complex, Bo City.

The event celebrated the club’s remarkable season, honouring players, technical staff, and supporters for their dedication, discipline, and outstanding contributions, while also giving thanks to God Almighty for a successful campaign.

The ceremony attracted several distinguished guests, including football stakeholders, former league officials, club representatives, members of the media, and entertainers from Bo City.

Awards presented on the night included:

* Best Medical Personnel
* Best Foreign Player
* Leadership Award
* Most Disciplined Player
* Most Improved Player
* Best First-Time Player
* Loyalty Award
* Coach of the Season – Jonathan Samuels

We will officially unveil our Annual End-of-Year Excellence Awards and Dinner to the public on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, at the Sidami Complex, New Gerihun Road, Bo City.

This year’s event promises to be more than a ceremony. It’s a celebration of excellence, resilience, and the historic 22-from-22 season that crowned Mogbwemo Queens champions of the 2025/26 Marampa Mines Women’s Premier League. Players, staff, partners, and supporters will gather to honor outstanding performances, team spirit, and the individuals who powered the club’s success on and off the pitch.

Save the date. The flyer drops now, and the night will set the standard for how champions close a season.

Head Coach of Mogbwemo Queens FC, Adama Pele Suma popularly known as Adama Pele, has departed Sierra Leone to attend the 29th TAFISA World Congress in Prague.

The Congress, organised by TAFISA, will bring together participants from over 100 countries under the theme “Sport for All: Building Bridges for Inclusion, Equity, and Harmony.”

Her participation is another proud moment for Mogbwemo Queens following the club’s historic unbeaten season.

Management also thanks the National Olympic Committee of Sierra Leone for the opportunity afforded to her to represent Sierra Leone at this global event.
