After losing my father, life forced me to grow fast. I stayed in the city alone, while my family moved to the village to survive. But I had football… and *United Eagles* gave me a place to belong.

Every time I step on the pitch, I carry my family with me. I carry my father’s pride. I carry the dreams of so many boys like me in Sierra Leone who are still hoping for a chance.

To anyone reading this — thank you for believing in me. I’m not giving up. I’m just getting started.

My name is Musa Kamara, a 16-year-old footballer and WASSCE candidate from Sierra Leone. I come from a humble background, and after losing my father, I’ve worked hard to balance my studies and football dreams while supporting my family in the village.

Football is more than a sport to me — it’s a lifeline. I’ve played as a right back for 6 years, representing Isha Johansen FC. I was honored to receive the “Best Youngest Player” award in Division 1 and scored the final goal that helped my team win a major local competition.

But beyond the pitch, I’m deeply committed to education. I believe that talent and discipline must go together. I’m not just looking for a scholarship — I’m looking for a chance to prove that someone like me, with limited resources but unlimited drive, can succeed.
