Mighty Blackpool FC regrets to announce the cancellation of our proposed pre-season fixture against Wanjama Stars FC , which was scheduled to take place in Pujehun on Sunday, 27th September 2026.
This decision has been made due to unforeseen circumstances affecting the club's current preparations and logistics. While we are naturally disappointed that the match will no longer take place, we believe it is the most responsible decision under the present circumstances.
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the Management, players, supporters, and the entire football community of Wanjama Stars FC for their warmth, professionalism, and cordiality throughout our engagement. Their enthusiasm and willingness to host this fixture were greatly appreciated and reflected the strong sporting spirit that exists between our clubs.
Although this particular match will not go ahead, we remain hopeful that, in the near future, both clubs will have the opportunity to revisit this fixture and make it a reality for the football-loving people of Pujehun and beyond.
We thank all supporters for their understanding and continued support.
