🌟 Po prvýkrát sa naša chlapčenská zložka (dievčatá už v predchádzajúcich sezónach zavítali do Česka) vybrala na vzrušujúce dobrodružstvo do Chorvátska, konkrétne do nádherného mesta Poreč! 🇭🇷
💪 Počas troch dní sme odohrali 4 zápasy, čo bolo ideálne nielen na regeneráciu, ale aj na iné zábavné aktivity mimo basketbalu.
🏨 Ubytovaní sme boli v 4* hoteli Albatros, len 100 metrov od pláže. Hneď vedľa hotela sa nachádza obrovská hala s tromi ihriskami, vonkajším basketbalovým ihriskom, 20 tenisovými kurtami, stolným tenisom, minigolfom a plážovým volejbalom – skrátka, skvelé podmienky na športovanie! ☀️🎾
🌍 Na turnaji sa zúčastnilo 78 tímov z 10 krajín, pričom celá akcia bola profesionálne zorganizovaná. Zabezpečená bola aj autobusová preprava pre hráčov a všetky telocvične boli vynikajúce. Hráli sme proti veľmi kvalitným družstvám, najmä z balkánskych krajín. Ďakujeme hlavnému organizátoru Ivanovi Milićovi za príležitosť.
🍽️ Stravovanie bolo fantastické, ponuka "All You Can Eat" bola pre športovcov ideálna – od lokálnych špecialít až po šťavnaté steaky!
🏀 Počas turnaja sme odohrali 4 zápasy a v každom sme viedli po prvých polčasoch. Najnapínavejší zápas sme mali proti srbskému veľkoklubu Crvena zvezda Beograd, kde sme viedli až 29 minút (hrálo sa 4x8 min). Nakoniec sme utrpeli bolestivú prehru, ktorú čiastočne spôsobili aj problémy so ZÓNOVOU obranou (v kategórii U13).
🤝 Naše družstvo sa skladalo z hráčov ročníkov 2012 a 2013, pričom polovica tímu hrala v staršej kategórii. Všetkých našich 12 hráčov nastúpilo v každom zápase, čo bol hlavný cieľ turnaja – nabrať cenné skúsenosti a posilniť tímovú chémiu.
👏 Súčasťou nášho tímu bol fantastický FAN KLUB, ktorý podporoval nás s viac ako 20 rodičmi na každom zápase! Ich energia bola neoceniteľná!
🏅 Hlavný tréner Robert Kunický odviedol skvelú prácu s našimi hráčmi, nielen na palubovkách v Poreči, ale aj mimo nich. Jeho starostlivosť, liečba zranení, mentoring a profesionálne vystupovanie boli jedinečné.
🎉 S istotou môžeme povedať, že turnaj sme si veľmi užili a tešíme sa na všetky ďalšie vzrušujúce dobrodružstvá, ktoré nám tento krásny a tímový šport ponúka.

🌟 For the first time, our boys' team (the girls have already traveled to the Czech Republic in previous seasons) set off on an exciting adventure to Croatia, specifically to the beautiful city of Poreč! 🇭🇷
💪 Over the course of three days, we played 4 matches, which was perfect not only for recovery but also for other fun activities outside of basketball.
🏨 We were accommodated in a 4-star hotel, Albatros, just 100 meters from the beach. Right next to the hotel, there is a huge hall with three courts, an outdoor basketball court, 20 tennis courts, table tennis, minigolf, and beach volleyball – in short, excellent conditions for sports! ☀️🎾
🌍 The tournament Adria Basketball Youth Tournament featured 78 teams from 10 countries, and the entire event was professionally organized. Transportation for the players was also provided, and all the gyms were outstanding. We played against very strong teams, especially from the Balkan countries. A big thank you to the main organizer, Ivan Milić, for this opportunity.
🍽️ The dining experience was fantastic, with an "All You Can Eat" option that was ideal for athletes – from local specialties to juicy steaks!
🏀 During the tournament, we played 4 matches, leading in each after the first halves. Our most intense match was against the Serbian giant, Crvena zvezda Beograd, where we led for up to 29 minutes (the game was played in 4x8 minute quarters). Unfortunately, we suffered a painful loss, partly due to issues with ZONE defense of the opponent.
🤝 Our team consisted of players from the 2012 and 2013 age groups, with half of the team playing in an older category. All 12 of our players participated in every match, which was the main goal of the tournament – to gain valuable experience and strengthen team chemistry.
👏 A fantastic FAN CLUB was part of our team, supporting us with over 20 parents at every game! Their energy was invaluable!
🏅 Head coach Robert Kunický did an excellent job with our players, both on the Poreč courts and off them. His care, injury treatment, mentoring, and professionalism were unique.
🎉 We can definitely say that we thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, and we are looking forward to all the exciting adventures that this beautiful team sport has to offer us.
