Impressive Victory for Bel-Amis Pro at the 24 Hours of Karting Genk

Bel-Amis Pro delivered another outstanding performance during the 24 Hours of Karting Genk. With only two drivers, Kenneth Naessens and Siebert Verfaillie, they took on strong and experienced teams such as TKR, Panthaa Racing, BF Motorsport and Dely Wafels Racing Team.

These teams are regulars at Karting Genk and are very familiar with the track and the challenges this endurance race presents. Despite this, Naessens and Verfaillie—supported from the sidelines by Mickael Bourgeois—managed to outperform the competition.

The race was marked by difficult conditions, particularly due to unpredictable weather. At one point, the event was neutralized for an hour and a half because of a severe thunderstorm. Nevertheless, the team remained focused and consistent throughout.

In the end, Bel-Amis Pro secured a dominant victory with a lead of at least two laps over their rivals. This important win is a significant boost in their campaign towards the Sodi Endurance World Series and further confirms their strength in endurance karting.

Preview – 24 Hours of Karting Genk

This weekend, Bel-Amis Pro faces one of the toughest challenges of the season: the 24 Hours of Karting Genk, also known as the “Home of Champions.” This endurance race is part of the Sodi World Endurance Series and represents a key round in the championship.

For this event, the team has opted for a compact yet experienced driver lineup. Kenneth Naessens & Siebert Verfaillie will take on the challenge, going head-to-head with strong local teams such as Team TKR (Germany) & Panthaa Racing. The level of competition is high, especially on a circuit known for its unique and demanding characteristics, where local experience can make a real difference.

Karting Genk is considered a rather specific round within the championship. It makes it difficult to perfectly balance pace and strategy. The main question for Bel-Amis Pro is whether they can secure valuable championship points this weekend.

After a challenging preparation, the team received a last-minute boost. They can now rely on the experience of Mickael Bourgeois, who will exceptionally join the team to support race strategy and tactics. His contribution could prove decisive in a race where every detail matters.

Bel-Amis Pro heads to Genk with ambition, but also realism. The objective is clear: deliver a clean and consistent race, and make the most of every opportunity.

Bel-Amis headed to the 24 Hours of Jesolo as the defending champion, full of ambition and with high expectations.

During qualifying, where we failed to get past 18th place. As if that wasn't enough, we were pushed off the track several times at the start, causing us to end up at the very back of the field.

We started a strong comeback race, but apart from our starting kart, we couldn't find competitive equipment for a long time. Midway through the race, we seemed to be heading for a spot somewhere deep in the top 10. But giving up is not in the Bel-Amis dictionary. In the second half, our three drivers shifted up a gear again, and luck also turned more in our favor during the kart changes. This even resulted in the fastest race lap, set by Kenneth Naessens. Suddenly, second place seemed within reach again, but setbacks in the transition zone cost us precious time once more. We had to fight until the end, only to eventually settle for third place — a considerable distance behind the unassailable winners Eiriz Pro. Congratulations to Eiriz with the Victory!

Siebert, Jules, and Kenneth are left with a bitter feeling, but are already looking forward to a possible rematch against the top Swiss favorites.

Next weekend, we return to Pista Azzurra, where Bel-Amis will once again go head-to-head with the top teams of the Sodi World Endurance Series in the 24 Hours of Jesolo.

For this occasion, Jules Vanhulle, Kenneth Naessens, and Siebert Verfaillie are back in the original line-up — because “never change a winning team.” And for good reason: Bel-Amis won this race last year, and we’re determined to defend our title.

🏁 Race Result – 5h Easter Race

Team Bel-Amis claimed victory at the 5h Easter Race at Worldkarts Kortrijk, organized by DK Kart Events.

After qualifying only P9, Horion Van Waes and Jules Vanhulle delivered a stunning comeback, climbing through the field and eventually putting every other team at least one lap down.

A dominant performance and a well-deserved win at Worldkarts Kortrijk. 🏆🏎️

What a season opener for Bel-Amis! 🏁

We are proud to take the win at the 26H Endurance Fatima by Linksport after an intense 26 hours of racing.

Jules Vanhulle, Kenneth Naessens and newcomer Amandio Costa Paz worked perfectly together as a team. With changing weather conditions, the right strategy was crucial: putting the right driver on track at the right time, sometimes staying out with a slower kart to save our kart changes for later in the race, and keeping a strong, consistent pace throughout the event.

Of course, pure speed also made the difference. Winning a 26-hour endurance race is never easy — especially when racing against teams like PF Racing and Matrax, recent winners of the Sodi World Finals.

A big thank you to Tiago, Bernardo and Joana from Linksport for the great organization and warm welcome.

We’ll definitely be back next year! 🇵🇹

After a break of several months, the Bel-Amis team is eagerly looking forward to the start of the new season in the Sodi World Series.

Originally, this 26-hour race was scheduled to take place in Leiria, but following the passage of storm Kristin, the organizers were forced to move the event to a new location. The choice ultimately fell on Funpark Kartódromo Fátima, a circuit renowned for its technical layout, where focus and consistency are crucial for a successful race.

For Bel-Amis, it will be an immediate challenge. This time, the team will not line up in its usual formation. Following the withdrawal of Siebert Verfaillie, a replacement was needed to join Kenneth Naessens and Jules Vanhulle on the trip to Portugal.

That replacement is the experienced Portuguese driver Amandio Costa Paz, who will make his debut for Bel-Amis. For him, it’s a special moment: racing on home soil while proudly representing the Belgian colors of Bel-Amis.

All the ingredients are in place for an intense start to the season, with Bel-Amis determined to show that they are ready to compete at the front in the Sodi World Series.

Although the result in Slovakia was a bit disappointing, we were eager to see the standings in the Sodi Endurance World Series. Now that we’ve finally secured our 10th result of the season, we know exactly where we stand. To our surprise, we are currently in second place out of 3,354 teams competing this year.

We’re planning to add at least one more race to make up for the weaker result in Slovakia. See you soon on the track!

Race Report – 24h Slovakia Ring (Endurance Sodi World Series)

With high expectations, Team Bel-Amis traveled to the Slovakia Ring for the prestigious 24-hour karting race, part of the Endurance Sodi World Series. The goal was clear: once again fighting for a podium finish, as we have consistently shown throughout this season.

The reality, however, turned out to be a bitter disappointment. Despite flawless commitment from both drivers and crew, the outcome of the race was dictated not by skill or teamwork, but by luck.
Throughout the 30 mandatory kart changes, our two dedicated spotters on the sidelines worked tirelessly to secure competitive karts for our drivers. Unfortunately, only a handful of times were we able to get machinery capable of matching the pace at the front. Too often, we were handed karts that left us powerless, turning the race into more of a game of Russian roulette than a true test of endurance and performance.

After 24 hours of battling, strategizing, and hoping, we were forced to settle for an unacceptable 11th place. This result is particularly frustrating given that Bel-Amis has been on the podium at every other race this season.

We would like to congratulate PF Racing, Eiriz Pro, and Red Racing on their podium finishes. A special mention also goes to our fellow countrymen at Trima Racing, who impressed with a strong performance in their very first major endurance event.

Now, all eyes turn to the championship standings and the impact this setback will have. In the meantime, the team is already evaluating, brainstorming, and preparing for the rest of the season. One thing is certain: Bel-Amis is determined to bounce back stronger.
