Two Snowkite Events are organized on Orava as Visegrad Snowkite Cup Orava and second event as Visegrad Snowkite Cup Lipno organized in Czech Republic. What we would like to propose by this project ? We would like to support and connect Regional development and Tourism together with motivation for sport activities. Our main idea is to build international Snowkites races in the heart of Europe = in a beautiful V4 countries. Lets stay with us and soon we bring you more information. Event is fully supported by VISEGRAD FUND https://www.visegradfund.org/ and our partners from V4 region : Poland and Czech Republic. Our polish partner Wildmountain boards has lots of kite experiences, they are professionals, they have certified and very experienced instructors and use suitable and quality Kite equipment. They will help us with the training of new Snowkite crew and with a promotion of Snowkiting in Poland and propagation of our Orava region abroad. Our Czech partner are more skilled in organizing such kind of events. It is a non-profit organization which was established with the aim of moving sport a bit further and organize Snowkiting competitions in Czech Republic. Representatives of the association have more than 10 years of experience in organizing of Snowkite events and are also active participants in many international competitions not only in Europe. These are irreplaceable experiences

🪁 Visegrad Kite Cup / Kite Liga odštartovala v Poľsku! 🇵🇱

7. augusta sa v kempe Maszoperia Sun4Hel v Jastarni uskutočnilo prvé kolo 6. ročníka Visegrad Kite Cup / Kite Liga v disciplíne Twintip Race.

Na štarte bolo 22 pretekárov, z toho polovica juniorov. Vďaka skvelému západnému vetru sa podarilo odjazdiť 4 jazdy juniorov aj seniorov. 💨🪁

Teší nás, že medzi pretekármi bolo opäť veľa mladých jazdcov a že kiteboarding sa stále rozrastá. 🙌

Ďakujeme všetkým pretekárom, organizátorom a našim partnerom za skvelé podujatie!

On 7 August, the first event of the 6th edition of Visegrad Kite Cup / Kite Liga took place at Maszoperia Sun4Hel campsite in Jastarnia, Poland, in the Twintip Race discipline.

There were 22 riders at the start, half of them juniors. Thanks to great westerly wind conditions, 4 heats for juniors and 4 heats for seniors were completed. 💨🪁

We are happy to see so many young riders taking part and helping to grow and promote kiteboarding. 🙌

Thank you to all riders, organisers and partners for a great event!

🌊 Visegrad Kite Cup pokračuje ďalšou zastávkou! 🪁

Už 7. augusta 2026 sa v Poľsku uskutočnia amatérske kiteboardingové preteky organizované v spolupráci s Kite Liga.

Držíme palce všetkým jazdcom, aby vietor vyšiel a čakali nás skvelé výkony na vode. 🤙

Predpovede vyzerajú sľubne, preto spúšťame 48-hodinovú štartovú procedúru pre prvú zastávku KiteLigy na základe predpovede vetra.

📅 Ak sa predpoveď počasia potvrdí, súťaž odštartujeme vo štvrtok.

Počas nasledujúcich hodín budeme priebežne vyhodnocovať predpovede a monitorovať podmienky na vode. Bezpečnosť a vhodné podmienky na pretekanie zostávajú našou najvyššou prioritou.

The forecast is looking promising, so we are officially launching the 48-hour start procedure for the first KiteLiga Forecast Event.

📅 If the weather forecast holds, the competition will begin on Thursday.

Over the coming hours, we will continue to monitor the forecasts and assess the conditions on the water. Safety and suitable racing conditions remain our top priority.

🌬️ Náš v poradí 4. event - Visegrad kite cup - Amaterskie zawody kiteboardingu - Poľsko 🔥. Čakáme na priaznivý vietor! 🚫⬇️

Predpovede začínajú vyzerať čoraz lepšie, no ako všetci vieme – KiteLiga sa riadi vetrom. 🌊

Aktuálne pozorne sledujeme predpovede počasia a čakáme na správny smer aj dostatočnú silu vetra, aby sa preteky mohli uskutočniť v čo najlepších a najbezpečnejších podmienkach.

📅 Počas budúceho týždňa zverejníme ďalšie informácie vrátane rozhodnutia o termíne prvého podujatia KiteLigy.
Toto podujatie organizujeme aj vďaka spolupráci so Snowkite Orava a podpore International Visegrad Fund, ktorých cieľom je prepájať športovú komunitu krajín V4 a podporovať medzinárodnú spoluprácu. 🤝

We are closely monitoring the weather forecasts and waiting for the right wind direction and sufficient wind strength so that the competition can take place in the best and safest possible conditions.

📅 During the coming week, we’ll share another update, including our decision regarding the first KiteLiga event.
