SkyBean Vario High quality paragliding equipment, by pilots for pilots. We are group of young engineers who are keen on paragliding.

As active members of paragliding community we got familiar with beauties and pleasures but also many needs and expenses of this breath-taking hobby. We created the most affordable and cute vario – this is how we want to help every pilot out there in the skies. With high-quality, robustness and reliability it still won’t burn a hole in pilot`s pocket.

We made special firmware for flight simulation, useful when you want to tune vario adjustment and see how changes will look in the air. It works best with original IGC files from SØ vario, as there are stored some additional data.

We also released new regular firmware, where is thermal gain widget and some minor fixes - see changelog for more details.

Thermal assistant with wind compensation - pattern drifts according calculated wind.
- Rate of drift is adjustable, now set to 80%
- Black triangle on the circle edge is the North relative position - You fly to the West if it is on 3 o'clock
- Arrow on the circle edge is relative wind direction - You have head wind if arrow is on 12 o'clock
- Circle is for distance reference, it is adjustable, now set to 100m of radius
- Two perpendicular lines are reference for pilot angle of view
