We have both a Mens and Ladies team, with members from all over the world and new members are always welcome! If you are new to this sport and wish to find out more about what Gaelic Football is then please see the following link:

The sport originates from Ireland and the first official game was played in 1885. The Slovak Shamrocks were founded in 2011. Originally we were founded with a Mens team only, however in 2013 we also founded our Ladies team, more commonly known as the "Ladybirds". Since 2011, we have enjoyed considerable success both on and off the pitch. Our most notbale successes on the pitches so far have been: Mens European Junior A Champions 2013, Ladies Central Eastern European Regional Champions 2018 and Mens Junior B Chamions 2018. However, the success we are most proud of is off the pitch in the diversity within our club members. Since our foundation in 2011 we have welcomed members from all over the world, from places such as: Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, France, Italy, Portgual, Germany, Greece, India, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Wales, Serbia, Croatia, Brazil, Netherlands to name a few. We believe that the GAA is a community and the Slovak Shamrocks have created a community in Slovakia that welcomes everyone.
