This premiere event is set to take place in the historically rich township of Banska Stiavnica on July 12-13, 2024.

Priprav sa na sezónu s nami: Oficiálna jazda po trati XTERRA Slovakia! 🚵‍♂️🇸🇰

Chceš presne vedieť, čo ťa čaká v júni v Štiavnických vrchoch? Máš jedinečnú šancu prejsť si cyklistickú časť našich pretekov v spoločnosti ostatných členov tribe a tímu XTERRA!

Kedy a kde?
📅 V sobotu 25. apríla

📍 Miesto stretnutia: Banský Studenec (priamo pri tajchu, kde v lete odštartujeme plávanie).

Čo nás čaká?
Spoločne vyrazíme z Banského Studenca a prejdeme trasu až do historického centra Banskej Štiavnice. Pre tých, ktorí si brúsia zuby na Full Distance, máme bonus – z mesta budeme pokračovať aj na druhú časť trate, ktorú budú pretekári zdolávať na hlavnej trase už v júni.

Dôležité info:
✅ Jazda je pre všetkých otvorená a úplne ZADARMO.
✅ Je to ideálna príležitosť otestovať si terén, vyladiť techniku v zjazdoch a spoznať nových parťákov.

Dnešný tréning stál za to? A ako vyzerá tvoj bicykel? 🚵‍♂️🧼

Terénny triatlon je drsný k tebe, ale ešte drsnejší k tvojej technike. Dubnové blato alebo prach dokážu zničiť pohon skôr, než povieš XTERRA. Sobotný večer je ideálny čas na krátky servis, aby si v nedeľu ráno vyrazil s čistou hlavou i reťazou.

Rýchly check-list po tréningu:
🚿 Opláchni blato: Nikdy nenechávaj blato zaschnúť na odpružení a tesneniach. Stačí voda, žiadny vysoký tlak!
⛓️ Vyčisti a namaž reťaz: Čistý pohon ti ušetrí watty, ktoré budeš v kopcoch nad Štiavnicou sakramentsky potrebovať.
🚲 Skontrolujte skrutky: Vibrácie v teréne sú silné. Raz za týždeň skontroluj, či je všetko dotiahnuté tak, ako má byť.

Tvoj bicykel je tvoj partner. Keď sa oňho postaráš dnes večer, podrží ťa v tých najťažších pasážach pretekov. ✨

Beh v Štiavnici? To je neustála hra s terénom! ⛰️🏃‍♂️

Bežecká časť na XTERRA Slovakia nie je žiadny nudný asfalt. Čakajú ťa strmé výšľapy, úzke lesné chodníčky a historické uličky mesta. Aby si si beh v júni naozaj užil, musíš sa naučiť s terénom spolupracovať, nie s ním bojovať.

Tipy pre tvoj jarný tréning v teréne:
🔹 Zmeň dĺžku kroku: V kopci skráť krok a zapoj ruky. Na rovine sa neboj poriadne natiahnuť. Variabilita je v Štiavnici kľúčová.
🔹 Sila jadra (Core): Beh v teréne vyžaduje stabilitu. Nezabúdaj na posilňovanie stredu tela - pomôže ti udržať rovnováhu na nerovnom povrchu, keď už nohy budú unavené.
🔹 Rešpektuj profil: Naša trať je vlnitá. Trénuj striedanie tempa - po prudkom stúpaní sa skús čo najrýchlejšie vrátiť do svojho pretekového rytmu. 📈
🔹 Uži si ten vibe: Bežíš cez UNESCO pamiatky! Keď ti bude najťažšie, zdvihni hlavu a načerpaj energiu z tej krásy okolo seba.

Swimming through history in the "Tajchy" 🌊🇸🇰

When you dive into the water at XTERRA Slovakia, you aren't just entering a lake. You are stepping into a 300-year-old engineering marvel.

What are the Tajchy?
These unique artificial water reservoirs were built in the 18th century to power the silver mines of Banská Štiavnica. Today, this incredible network is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers some of the most atmospheric swimming in the XTERRA world.

What to expect on race day:
🌲 Surrounded by Nature: The Tajchy are tucked away in the forest. It’s quiet, peaceful, and raw.
💎 Crystal Clarity: The water is remarkably clean and refreshing, but it can be chilly! Even in summer, the depth keeps the temperature crisp.
🧭 Orientation: Because the reservoirs are often irregular in shape and surrounded by trees, practicing your sighting is crucial to stay on a straight line.

Dnešný západ slnka bol špeciálny. Cítili ste to? 🌅✨
