Last weekend we competed at the Austrian BBQ Festival – Indian Summer BBQ Challenge 2019 in Graz. We like this event not only because it takes us just 30 minutes to get there but also for the unique atmosphere as you are literally cuddling with the other teams on this narrow competition site.

Despite the fact that we totally messed up our brisket flat (just turned in burnt ends) we were quite satisfied with our cook. We heard our name for all 4 categoris - topped by a 3rd place for pork - and also for a 6th place overall.

Congrats to IQ BBQ for another GC and to White Squirrel BBQ for AGAIN being second.

Last weekend we competed at Wild West Fest - On Fire at Zbilje Lake in Slovenia. The contest was, like the years before, organizes perfectly and we always love to come here. We had a great weekend, though it was a little bit too warm (mimimimimi....)

Our results were OK-ish:
10th Chicken
12th Ribs
15th Pork
12th Brisket
11th Overall

Congrats to our friends White Squirrel BBQ for taking their 4th GC in a row (sic!) and Bunch of Swines for RGC. The village people are a league of their own this year...
