Ever wondered what makes our climbing sessions so special? 🤔 A few years ago swapped our indoor wall for the real deal, and wow—what a difference! 🌲✨

While artificial walls are awesome for practice, there’s just something magical about climbing in nature. Our campers now get to feel real rock under their fingers, breathe in the fresh forest air, and hear the birds cheering them on from the treetops. 🧗‍♀️🌿

Here’s why we’re loving the switch:

✅ Connection with nature – No more four walls and a ceiling! Our kids are fully immersed in Slovenia’s gorgeous outdoors.

That heart-pounding moment at the top... taking a deep breath... and deciding to go for it! 🤩

We live for these sounds: the splash, the cheer, the unforgettable I did it! laughter that follows. This is what stepping bravely outside your comfort zone looks like, and our campers absolutely crushed it.

With our incredible staff overseeing every jump and paddle (safety is always our #1 priority!), these adventures become about so much more than the activity. They’re about trusting yourself, encouraging your friends, and discovering a courage you didn't know you had.

It’s not about being the boldest; it’s about trying something you’ve never tried before and realizing you’re capable of amazing things. So incredibly proud of every camper who took the leap this week—literally! 🚣‍♂️💦

There’s a special kind of magic that happens when you unplug and just... walk. 🍃 No notifications, no screens—just the crunch of leaves underfoot and the sound of real conversations.

These hikes are one of our favourite things. But if we're being totally honest, the trail itself is just the setting. The real activity? Connection.

Our amazing staff use these moments in nature to create the space for what matters most: the inside jokes that start over a weird-looking mushroom, the deep talks that happen on a log bench, and the kind of friendships that are built step by step, far away from Wi-Fi signals.

It’s all just a tool to help kids look up, look around, and really see each other. And the beautiful wilderness? That’s just the incredible bonus.

This is what "home away from home" feels like. It's not just about the scheduled activities; it's about the spontaneous moments of pure, silly joy that turn a group of campers into a family. These boys went from mildly suspicious to completely soaked and couldn't stop ..... laughing? Mission: accomplished! ✨

It’s all about letting loose, being playful, and creating the kind of memories you talk about for years. So proud of our staff for keeping that magic alive every single day.

We know it sounds big. But here’s why we love our screen-free rule:

Studies show that without phones, we talk more, laugh more, and look each other in the eyes. Real connection happens! 👀💬

But don’t worry... no one has time to be bored!

We fill the day with so much fun, there’s no time to miss a screen. Think:

We swap scrolling for exploring. We replace notifications with real conversations. And you know what? The kids love it. They feel more free, more present, and more themselves.

Our staff... where do we even begin?

They are the ones who tie shoes, tell silly jokes, and give the best high-fives! ✋

They work countless hours under the sun ☀️ and stay up late to make tomorrow perfect. They create the magic in every "in-between" moment.

But ask them what their #1 reward is? It's not money... it's THIS 👇

Guess what just got added to our camp map this summer? Drumroll please... HAMMOCK CITY! 🎉🏕️

We've created a magical little oasis nestled between our tallest trees with 7+ cozy two-person hammocks just waiting for campers to claim them as their chill zone. Picture this: gentle breezes, dappled sunlight, and the sound of friends laughing as you swing together. 🌳💫

You know how some spots at camp just feel like home? That's Hammock City. It's where new friendships form over shared stories, where cabin mates plot their next adventure, and where sometimes... you might just catch a nap under the leafy canopy. 😴✨

Here's the best part: some lucky campers will get to spend a night under the stars right here in Hammock City! Imagine drifting off to sleep with nothing but the sound of crickets and the gentle sway of your hammock as the fireflies put on their nightly show. 🌌✨

This isn't just a place to relax—it's where memories are made. One of our counselors shared that at her previous camp, they called their hammock spot "Hammock City" because it was where the whole staff would gather for evening chats. Now, we're bringing that tradition to ALL our campers!

Whether you're sharing secrets, playing cards, or just swinging in comfortable silence, Hammock City is your new "home away from home" within our camp home. 🌞

You know that magical moment when camp begins and strangers become cabin mates? One of our favorite ways to break the ice is our Opening Day tradition: The 5 Handshakes in 5 Minutes! 🌞🏕️

Have you ever heard of the Moo Moo handshake? 🐮 Or the Telepone? 📞 What about the New York Shuffle? 🗽 Or the Shoe Shine? 👞These aren't just silly moves—they're the secret sauce that turns nervous new campers into fast friends before lunchtime!

Watch as our counselors guide campers through these signature greetings that have been passed down through generations and has a special meaning to the camps.

The best part? Campers don't just learn these handshakes—they add their own personal flair! By the end of the first day, you'll see kids creating brand new variations that might just become next summer's traditions. ✨

🧭🌟 Orienteering: Finding Our Way, Together 🌟🧭

Before the adventures could begin, our little explorers first learned how to find their way. Orientation days weren’t about running or racing—they were about discovery, awareness, and building confidence in a brand-new place. 🏡✨

What did it look like?

📍 Kids learning the boundaries and exploring where each path leads.

🍴 Smiles when they found the kitchen (the most important stop of all!).

⚽ Cheers at the football field, already imagining the matches to come.

🏥 Careful attention as they learned where the medical center was—because safety always comes first.

There was something special about watching campers point to maps, listen carefully, and help each other remember the way. By the end, the camp wasn’t just a place—it felt like their place, full of landmarks, laughter, and the excitement of knowing exactly where the next adventure would happen. 💛

🍕🌟 Pizza Creations: Explorer Style! 🌟🍕

Flour in the air, laughter at the tables, and imagination on every plate—our pizza-making sessions turned mealtime into a masterpiece. Campers rolled, shaped, and decorated their very own pizzas, proving that food tastes even better when it’s made with creativity (and a little bit of giggling). 😋✨

What made it unforgettable?

👩‍🍳 Kids choosing whatever toppings they loved, from classic cheese to wild combos only camp magic could inspire.

🎨 Creative shapes—hearts, stars, and even “mystery pizzas” that had everyone curious.

💡 Learning to respect food, from handling the dough with care to sharing their finished creations.

😂 Smiles growing bigger when they took that first bite of something they made themselves.
