This Saturday was every sprint kayak athlete's least favourite race of the year - the National Marathon...

Athletes predicted multiple fatalities, however we are happy to announce that not only did all Zlatorogi complete the race (alive), brought home 🥈🥈medals in both the U23 and Senior categories with a time of 1hr 43.17 💪👏👏👏 Huge Congrats Gašper!!

Great races also from Nikolaj who finished 5th in the boys U10 category, and Izabel 11th in the girls U14.

Izabel finished her first ever race in the K1 in challenging 🌊🌊 and Nikolaj brought home 🥈 in the MK1 500

Back home, our seniors were turning up the heat in training 🔥 with the National Marathon and World Champs just around the corner

If you've ever wanted to try kayaking, you and your friends are welcome to join us every day from the 26-30th of May from 14:30-16:00 Vuga, Most na Soči 58

Everyone older than 7 years (including adults) can join for free as long as you can swim. We've got single, 2, and 4 person kayaks. Just bring a towel, change of clothes and flip flops.

A huge congrats to the Zlatorogi who competed at the Matija Ljubek international regatta over the weekend.

brought home 🥇in the Senior K1 500, in an incredible battle from start to (photo) finish, and all 🇸🇮 podium.

& Anja Osterman() joined the men's K2 500 race for a trial run before the World Cups

Zlatorog's Gašper Manfreda had a great race, coming into the home straight in 3rd place. An epic battle in the final meters of the race saw him finish in 5th overall and 4th in the U23.
