Najvidnejši uspehi slovenske reprezentance so:
Ostali rezultati:

Zato smo v zadnjih letih ligo v odprtem državnem prvenstvu igrali še z ekipami s Hrvaške in Madžarske, Črne Gore, Romunije in Italije.
Ekipo sestavljamo igralci: Boštjan Vogričnič, Blaž Koščak (Kapetan), Borut Višnikar, Matej Ledinek in Dejan Pirc. Ekipo vodita trenerja Ivan Vinkler in Klemen Bajc.

SHORT ABOUT GOALBALL AND SLOVENE NATIONAL TEAM FROM RECENT YEARS
Goalball is a team sport designed specifically for blind athletes. It is played using the ball that has bells embedded in it. All players are required to use eyeshades that allow partially sighted players to compete on an equal footing with blind players. This causes all players to concentrate on their other senses, especially hearing and touch. The court is of equal size as the one of the volleyball. Its length is 18 metres and its width is 9 metres. Along each side there is a goal, which is 1.3 metres high. The ground of the court is equipped by tactile lines, helping players to get around the court. Each team consists of three players. During the game the teams alternate throwing or rolling the ball from one end of the playing area to another, striving to defend their goal and reach the opponent's. The beginnings of goalball in Slovenia reach back to 1993, which was when our team participated in our first international event, however, our athletes had been also successful in Yugoslavian teams. Here are some of the most remarkable successes of our team:
- 1994: 3rd place at the World Championship in Colorado Springs, CO, USA,
- 1996: 5th place at the Paralympic Games in Atlanta, GA, USA,
- 1997: 1st place at the European Championship in Stockholm, Sweden,
- 1998: 1st place at the World Championship in Madrid, Spain,
- 2002: 3rd place at the World Championship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
- 2009: 2nd place at the European Championship in Munich, Germany. Other results:
- 1993: 8th place at the European Championship in Loughborough, UK,
- 1999: 7th place at the European Championship in Birmingham, UK,
- 2000: 6th place at the Paralympic Games in Sydney, Australia,
- 2001: 4th place at the European Championship in Budapest, Hungary,
- 2004: 11th place at the Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece,
- 2005: 4th place at the European Championship in Neerpelt and Overpelt, Belgium,
- 2006: 4th place at the World Championship in Spartanburg, SC, USA,
- 2007: 8th place at the European Championship in Alanya, Turkey,
- 2008: 1st place at the B-division European Championship in Pajulahti, Finland,
- 2008: 8th place at the Paralympic Games in Beijing, China,
- 2010: 10th place at the World Championship in Sheffield, UK,
- 2011: 9th place at the Paralympic Games Qualiffications in Antalya, Turkey,
- 2011: 5th place at the European Championship in Assens, Danmark,
- 2013: 9th place at the European Championship in Konya, Turkey,
- 2014: 1st place at the B-division European Championship in Budapest, Hungary,
- 2015: 9th place at the European Championship in Kaunas, Lithuania. During the last period, the team has not achieved as ground-breaking results as it used to in previous years. This is mainly due to stronger competition and the fact that goalball has become less popular among visually impaired athletes in Slovenia. During our blossoming times there have been enough players to create a league with six teams or even more. Nowadays, it is difficult to compose a league with three teams, which is a great loss for us. This is the reason why we have been playing in a league on an Opened National Championship together with teams from Croatia and Hungary, Montenegro, Romania and Italy. All these reasons have a severe impact on our performance. Since 2013 our team has twice been ranked into B-division. Firstly in 2013 and the second time in 2015 when we scored 9th place at the European Championship in Lithuania. Today
At the B-Division European Championship in Portugal in the suburbs of Porto (Maia), we won the third place and qualified in the elite A division and this year we will perform at the European Championship in Finland this year (Pajulahti)
The team consists of players: Boštjan Vogričnič, Blaž Koščak (Captain), Borut Višnikar, Matej Ledinek and Dejan Pirc. The team is led by coach Ivan Vinkler and Klemen Bajc. Our goal for the upcoming European Championship in Finland is to remain in the competition of the top 10 teams in Europe. We can achieve this by ranking up to 7th place. By doing so, we would also qualify for the World Championships in 2018 in Sweden (Malmö).
