Meet Dejan Kralj

Dejan Kralj is a Slovenian slalom kayaker who competed at the international level from 1992 to 2012. He won a second place in world cup 2001 and a bronze medal in the K1 team event at the 2005 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Penrith, Australia. He also won five medals in the same event at the European Championships (3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze). Kralj finished tenth in

the K1 event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Beside the slalom competitions he is one of the best extreme paddlers with a silver medal from the 2013 extreme world championship in whitewater kayaking and member of a rafting team Bober with 6 world champion titles. After the competitive carrier he finished two IRONMAN triathlons. He worked as a coach for world cup athletes from New Zeland, Azerbajzan and with top senior, junior and child competitors around the world.
