All I need is a bit of sun, a few thermal layers and a destination. Let me know if you’ve got any recommendations on beautiful bridges or castles.

Liza loves Sava (the river) in the summer! Her running like this is a rare sight and it makes me so happy! We come here at least once a week in the hope that the princess will be in the mood to walk. Otherwise I carry her to the water, where she quenches her thirst and then walks back to the car. 😅 My neighbours call her Princess Liza because they see me carry her so much. 😄

Outdoor yoga has a special place in my heart. Birds singing, bees buzzing around the flowers that I can smell so beautifully even from the balcony and the wind carrying the beautiful sounds of nature all over the city of dragons (Ljubljana).

Today was gonna be a hot day and I thought I’d be a good day for a swim. I love being hot so the 35 °C heat didn’t bother me but clearly I’m still getting used to living in Slovenia because I had no idea the river water is freezing in summer! That did bother me. 🥶 I have a lot to learn... I love this place though because it has so many cool little private spots and the river is so loud that it drowns out the sound of people far away so Karin can read in peace. 😉

I’m ecstatic that this is part of my regular routine now. These little pull up shrugs are a huge win for me! I’m slowly slowly slowly working up to a pull up for the first time ever so these little moves are getting my shoulders used to it. In reality it’s the delightful stretch that makes me do it most days. 😉

Who remembers these? 🤩 It was pretty much in every household in the 90s. As kids we would sn**ch them from our mums to sit on it and spin around for hours! We clearly missed the memo about its intended use and purpose. 😂
