Had a great bunch of guys fishing with me recently! Caught and released a bunch of tunas, as well as some Blue Sharks and Treshers!

I had the pleasure of taking Marc Bierwolf from Svendsen Sport fishing about 2 weeks ago! We were testing some equipment from Okuma and Savage Gear! I have to admit that I was quite impressed with the performance of the Okuma Azores spinning reel, and rod! Tunas up to 40kg and drag settings around 9kg were no problem for the set up! Also the Savage Gear colored 8 braid 0,28mm, FC leader 60lbs handled the job with ease!

Taking a customers boat for a day of slow pitch jigging. We had 7 strikes of dentex within about one hour, including a triple hook up! We took 2 fish, one had 8,2, the other 6,5 kg!

Our trip to No Boundaries Oman in S. Oman is over! What an awesome experience! The lodge and staff are first class, very professional and great to hang out with! The boats are maintained to the highest standards, and I now it is just a small detail, but to me it is very important - they actually have enough rod holders for all my rods! We brought 16 outfits!! The fishing was outstanding, considering the weather conditions we encountered! Unusually strong winds from the NE made GT popping impossible except for the last day! That last day was trip! 4 Geets landed ca. 28kg, 2 in the 40s, and a 53kg monster!
On the other days we had a blast with a multitude of other species! AJs, Trevallys, Jacks, MahiMahi and so on! Cant wait to come back!!
