24 Hours of Ivančna. ❤️

When I started this project, I didn’t know how many people would show up. Who would run one lap, who would run ten, and who would stay with me when the legs got heavy and all that was left was determination.

And then you started coming. One after another.
Some for a few minutes, others for hours. Some of you came back again. And some stayed with me until the very end.

That’s when I realized once again that 24h Ivančna is no longer just my run.

Every step you took beside me meant something. Every handshake, every word of encouragement, every smile, and every “one more lap” helped us reach the finish.

So I didn’t take those final steps alone.
We finished them together. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came. To those who ran, helped, cheered, or simply stood by the course for a moment. You may not even realize how much it meant to me.

Next time, we’ll make it even better — including the organization. Because support like this deserves a project that keeps growing.

And there’s one thing that should become a tradition from now on…

When it’s all over, when those 24 hours are behind us, we’ll come together for one or two final honorary laps around the track. 🏃‍♂️❤️

Not for the kilometres.
But for everyone who became part of this story.

24h Ivančna started as my project.

20 Years in Uniform. 🇸🇮🫡

Twenty years ago, I put on the Slovenian Armed Forces uniform for the first time. It was a hot summer day. No one asked whether our equipment fit us. Some of us received boots that were too big, others uniforms that were too small. None of that mattered. The only thing that mattered was becoming part of the organization we were about to serve.

Over these twenty years, I have experienced countless training exercises, drills, patrols, deployments, and challenges. The military taught me discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and respect. It taught me that trust is earned through actions, not words.

Even after twenty years, I still go to work with pride and enthusiasm. If someone asked me for advice, I would not hesitate to say: if you have the opportunity, join the Slovenian Armed Forces. It has given me far more than I ever expected.

At the same time, I believe the military must remain a military. We need people who truly want to serve, take responsibility, and continuously improve themselves. Less focus on financial benefits and allowances, more focus on mission, knowledge, discipline, and commitment. Standards should be high, expectations clear, and the same rules should apply to everyone. That is the only way to build a strong, respected, and trusted Slovenian Armed Forces.

After twenty years, I can honestly say that I would make the very same decision again.

For the Homeland. 🇸🇮🫡

Morning always tells more than any evening. 🏃🏻‍♂️⚔️☀️🌙❤️🍀 That’s when your mind is clear and you see things without filters. Today wasn’t about the summit or a result. It was about going up and looking back at how far I’ve come. A view like this puts everything in place and shows how much work is already behind you.

Pravila igre moji prijatelji! Pred nami je projekt Ultra 500. Ideja je preprosta, izvedba malo manj. 500 kilometrov po Sloveniji, brez tekmovalnega pritiska, z enim ciljem, da se premikam naprej in da na tej poti ustvarimo nekaj, kar ostane.

Not because of the result. Because of the feeling.

Running teaches you one important thing.
No one shows up instead of you.
No one runs the kilometers instead of you.
No one goes through the hard days instead of you.

But everyone can take the first step.
And then another one.

In the end, it is not about how fast you run.
It is about not quitting.

Naloga je jasna. Pot je dolga. Zgodba se začne v Ivančni Gorici. 🏃🏻‍♂️⚔️☀️🌙❤️🍀
8. maj 2026 ob 19.00 začnem tek Ultra 500. Petsto kilometrov skozi Slovenijo. Pet dni poti, volje in vztrajnosti.

Vabim vas, da pridete na start. Pridite kot tekači, spremljevalci ali kot ljudje, ki želijo biti del zgodbe. Vaša prisotnost pomeni energijo na začetku poti.

Če ne morete priti, lahko pomagate drugače. Delite dogodek. Povabite prijatelje. Naj zgodba doseže čim več ljudi.

Vsak, ki pride na dogodek, bo prejel majhno presenečenje. Pomen tega presenečenja boste razumeli med tekom.
