📅 18 - 20 September 2026 See you in Kranjska Gora, 7. - 10.

Julian Alps and its surroundings offer everything that trail running stands for – mountain paths, where easy and runnable terrains intertwine and sometimes surprise you with more technical ones. We’re offering something rather exciting for experienced trail runners – 170, 100 and 60 km distances, which for sure won’t leave you indifferent. You’ll be able to run next to the stunning emerald river S

oča, see the stunning Bled, enjoy views of Slovenia’s biggest mountain Triglav and of course the beautiful alpine surroundings of Kranjska Gora. Those, still getting to know trail running, will be able to enjoy 10, 15 or 25 km distances, where the terrains might not be as difficult, but still offer a pinch of what makes people fall in love with trail running. September 2023!

A thousand questions. One starting gun.

We willingly step into the deafening static of the start line. The cold sweat. The restless mind. Why do we do this?

Because the second the gun fires, the noise dies.

Welcome to the solace of the pain cave. A private cathedral where you fall down, get back up, and discover what you're truly made of. Where every climb tests your resolve, every descent rewards your courage, and every step brings you closer to the finish line.

At COMPRESSPORT, they live for these moments. The moments when preparation meets opportunity. When performance becomes instinct. When your gear disappears, leaving only you, your effort, and the trail ahead.

From the first heartbeat on the start line to the final push across the finish, they're here to support every stride, every summit, every race.

Over the line, collapsed in the dirt, the answer is obvious. It feels exactly like coming home.

If you know, you know. You don't ask why.

Born to race.
Engineered to support every step.

Wherever you race, Compressport supports you.

What if your strongest years are still ahead of you? 🏃Lou Clifton only discovered trail running in her mid-40s. Since then, she has represented Australia at the World Trail Championships twice, won her age group at UTMB and CCC, set national and course records, and reached podiums around the world.

But Lou’s story is about far more than results. It is about resilience, overcoming injuries and continuing to explore what is possible at every age.

“Having started in my mid-40s, I feel like I am just getting going. Now I want to see what I can do in my 50s and break through ceilings!”

This September, Lou will bring her “strong and focused” mindset to the I feel Slovenia 120K start line and discover the Julian Alps for the first time.

Let her story inspire you—whatever your age, experience or starting point.

Every section of a course has its own story, and the altitude profile tells it before you run a step. Pull your route into the Suunto app, study where the climbs stack up, add your aid stations, and start planning your strategy. One sync to your watch and it's all there on your wrist when the legs start asking questions.

What does your race strategy look like?

"Pressure is a privilege." 💭 Before the start of the 2024 I feel Slovenia Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB, we asked Francesco Puppi about pressure, expectations and racing at the highest level.

His answer was: "The biggest pressure for good athletes always comes from ourselves. It's a situation we create within ourselves." Instead of fighting those emotions, Francesco believes we should make space for them.

"I feel super lucky that I'm a professional runner. I get to travel to races, compete with the best in the world and do what I love."

A shift in perspective can change everything. What feels like pressure today is often a privilege many people dream of having.

That mindset carried him all the way to victory in the 50K through the heart of the Julian Alps. 🏆🏔️

Sometimes, the biggest difference isn't in your legs—it's in the way you choose to see the challenge ahead.

What does "pressure is a privilege" mean to you and how do you deal with it?

How do you keep moving through the toughest miles of a long race?

For Suunto ambassador Courtney Dauwalter, the answer is a mantra.

“Mantras have been incredibly important to me as I push myself to new depths of my pain cave. 'Believe' is one that has definitely played on a loop in my head – a reminder that if we can stay positive and keep believing, we’re capable of far more than we think.”

Exactly two months from today, another chapter begins. 🐐

Since 2019, these mountains have witnessed it all: first steps into trail running, first ultras, unforgettable victories, courageous comebacks and friendships forged somewhere between the valleys and the summits.

Thousands of runners. Millions of footsteps. Countless moments that reminded us why we run in the first place.

Every September has left its mark—not only on these trails, but on everyone who has experienced them.

On September 18th, we meet again to write the next chapter.

What story will you write in 2026? 🏔️

Aleš Svetina's road to I feel Slovenia 120K victory. 🏆 His trail running story began here in 2019, when he arrived at the start of his first trail race.

During the climb towards Trupejevo Poldne, he even picked up two wooden sticks in the forest to help him tackle the ascent.

Five years later, he returned to those same trails and won the I Feel Slovenia 120K. 🥇A DNF followed in 2025. Then a severe ankle injury and a long, demanding rehabilitation.

In September 2026, Aleš will stand on the 120K start line once again. This time, he is racing for more than victory. His return represents a promise he made to himself when everything could have come to an end.

Swipe to discover what victory, defeat and the fight to return have taught him. 🐐
