The vast majority of runners believe that the Triglav Trail Run is one of the most beautiful trail runs in the region. It is certainly not the biggest race – and it never will be – but it will always remain a boutique running story.
As in every year so far, now the fifth in a row, runners experienced the extraordinary environment of the Julian Alps, the nature surrounding the highest peak, Triglav. They ran through the Vrata Valley, the Krma Valley, and higher up – from the Koča na Doliču hut across the Velo Polje valley to Vodnik’s Hut and beyond… 👌🍀
This year, the weather also added to the adventurous spirit – nothing was simply given, every runner had to fight for it. That is also the magic of trail running: the primal connection with nature. And the Triglav Trail Run is a race where you truly run along the trails, including the more demanding ones 💪
It was a beautiful and enjoyable weekend. Thank you to all the runners for your trust, thank you to all supporters, and thank you to the many heartfelt people who made it possible for this run to happen 🙏💥
