Chicas Sailing Team Slovenian women sailing team Ideja o ženski jadralni ekipi je nastajala več kot dve sezoni in se dokončno izklesala v sezoni 2009.

Edino izključno žensko posadko v Pokalu Slovenije sestavlja deset deklet različnih profilov s skupno strastjo do jadranja, morja in vetra. Krmilo bo tretje leto zapored držala v rokah Teja Plešec, ki ima za seboj vrsto let jadranja na različnih regatnih jadrnicah. Vse članice ekipe se z jadranjem ukvarjajo rekreativno, vendar zelo intenzivno in ambiciozno, kar potrdijo tudi nekateri vidnejši rezu

ltati v preteklih sezonah, prijadranih na jadrnicah Melges 24 in Murphy 26. Večina ima za seboj že veliko regat, tako v domačih vodah kot v tujini, zato izkušenj in znanja v ekipi ne zmanjka, kot tudi volje in interesa ne, zato je ekipa kot Elan Women Racing Team na novi E210 tudi letos pripravljena zabeležiti uspešno jadralsko sezono. The idea of women's sailing team has been evolving more than two seasons and eventually formed in the season 2009. The only exclusively female crew in the Slovenia Cup consists of ten girls of different profiles with a common passion for sailing, sea and wind. Rudder will be the third consecutive year in the hands of Teja Plešec, who has had many years of sailing in the various racing teams and boats. All team members are engaged in recreational sailing, but still very intense and ambitious- that is supported by some of the more visible results in recent seasons, sailed on boats Melges 24 and Murphy 26. Most girls have sailed a lot of races, both in domestic waters and abroad, so team does not lack experience and knowledge, as well as will and interest not. This year known as Elan Women Racing Team on the new boat Elan 210, team is ready once again record a successful sailing season.

Last weekend we attended Diplomatic regatta in Izola, and there was even more than one E210.. This year we didn't welcome any diplomat- unfortunately there wasn't enough of them, but after summer vacation and long time no sailing together, we still know how to do it.. in competition of 5 one design E210, 2nd place was ours. Tried to beat Janez Mrak and Mitja Nevečny's team, but to achieve that, we'll need some more miles on water.. It was nice day on the water, perfect conditions, looking forward for some more..

Summer hello to all our friends and fans! As a result of concluded cooperation with Elan, we also changed our team name into our old one.. So from now on you can find us under Chicas Sailing Team. Hasta la vista sailors!

Unfortunately, our relationship with Elan has so far concluded, therefore we are looking for another boat..any suggestions welcome! And if anyone needs a member, two or more in the team, we would be glad to join forces :)
