Guys, we wrap up SGIA SHL T25 Season 2 as runners up.
We won all 6 group stage games. That is something we have never done before. Great start to the tournament. From group stage to Super 8 to semis and into the final, this is a strong achievement by the team.
First, thank you to everyone who played each and every game. Full effort throughout. Also big thanks to our off field supporters, Sanjeevi, Tirineesh, Mayuran, Prem, Mahalingam.
Santhosh, very well batted as usual at the top and well deserved Best Batsman of the tournament.
Arul, had some hard luck but still put in a few good games while opening.
GV, fantastic with the bat this season, scoring quick 30s and 40s for the team.
Selva, did well picking up key wickets in the middle overs with spin, which helped us a lot.
Mani, great job on your maiden fifty, played beautifully in that match.
Muru, had some hard luck early but came back strong in the last few games. Bowling was exceptional with important wickets and tight economy.
Kamesh, kept trying every game, results will come soon.
Guna, had a few good games, hope you recover well from injury.
Arulraj, fantastic comeback with the bat in the last few games, bowling was good in the first few.
Naren, chipped in with 30s and 40s and as usual very strong with the new ball.
Siva, great season with the ball, finishing as second highest wicket taker and picking wickets consistently in middle and death overs.
Sathish, played some good innings according to match situations, good to see.
Maha, amazing in the field as always and always there to support the team.
Kishore, was good in the opening spell picking up early wickets each game.
Even though we finished runners up and reached multiple finals, we take this as a learning experience. We fix our mistakes and come back stronger.
