Friends of Gymnastics (Frens) was formed in 2015 by parents of WAG Gymnasts to build a warm and supportive community for parents of budding artistic gymnasts in Singapore. We understand the challenges you face as you support your young gymnasts on their journey. Together, we strive to provide a helping hand, sharing experiences and offering support as you navigate the world of competitive gymnastics. As a proud member club of Singapore Gymnastics, we actively advocate for our community and the sport, working together to elevate both. Join us and be a part of our dedicated community, making a positive impact on our sport and fostering a strong and nurturing environment for our gymnastics family.

Teen gymnast Charlotte Phoon makes her Commonwealth Games debut, contributing to Team Singapore's performance while embracing the challenge and learning from the experience.

Team Singapore WAG at the Commonwealth Games

Amanda Yap, Emma Yap, Alena Tan, Emma Goh and Charlotte Phoon gave their all in Glasgow, finishing 7th place as a team with a score of 140.100.

Amanda Yap finished in the top 10 with a career-best IAA score of 50.050, qualifying for the All-Around, beam and floor finals! Alena Tan also did well to qualify for the All-around final with a score of 44.850. Emma Yap battled through a tough day to finish strong on floor, landing as first reserve for the floor final. Emma Goh and Charlotte Phoon made steady Games debuts, contributing team scores on the beam and bars respectively.

A good fight from Team Singapore and lots of cheers and support from the crowd - congratulations to the whole squad!
