A deeper understanding of Wing Chun Kuen was shared on May 17, 2026 as Sifu Chua conducted a special 2-hour workshop exploring the often-overlooked connection between Biu Jee and the traditional weapons of the system.

It was a reminder that within traditional Wing Chun, every form and every weapon is interconnected, with Biu Jee serving as a crucial bridge to the higher-level principles of the art.

2026 Wing Chun Kuen grading had just completed. It was a powerful showcase of discipline, perseverance, and technical development across all levels.

Beyond techniques, students were evaluated on their understanding of Wing Chun principles — structure, timing, and efficiency — all essential elements of the art.

The grading also marked an important step for those progressing into leadership roles, as senior students took on greater responsibility in embodying and passing on the system.

Well done to all students who stepped forward, and congratulations to those who successfully progressed to the next level.

During the latest workshop conducted by Sifu Chua, WCKTC students had the rare privilege of experiencing Wing Chun's butterfly sword - BAAT Jaam Do.

Sifu Chua elucidated the design and functionality of the butterfly sword, highlighting its connection to Wing Chun Kuen. Students engaged in a hands-on exploration of the sword form's principles, concentrating on its efficiency.

The workshop concluded with Sifu Chua stressing the value of practice in reinforcing the skills acquired.

On the evening of September 19, 2025, three generations of Sifu Chua's students gathered to honor his birthday, celebrating his unwavering passion and unrelenting dedication. The occasion was a sumptuous dinner, meticulously orchestrated by Ken Lee, a key member of the WCKTC committee, at the VIP room of Yang Ming restaurant.

The profound bond within the WCKTC family deeply warmed Sifu Chua's heart, particularly as it encompassed his inaugural batch of students. With many auspicious years ahead, Sifu Chua felt increasingly confident about the bright future of the WCKTC legacy.
