In this episode we are fishing at Damai Fishing Village, which is just across the border in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This place has 4 different ponds that you can fish. Two of which are private booking ponds that you can book in advance and catch species like Giant Trevally, Groupers, Mangrove Jacks and Seabass. We booked the GT Pond for this 3 hour session but do note, their private booking ponds are purely catch and release.

Solid chunk of a hybrid grouper that was caught while baiting with a live prawn at the D’Best Premium Pond! The groupers here like to fight dirty and give it their all!

Would highly recommend trying this pond out if you haven’t done so already!
