🏐 SGNA U8 Mini League – Week 3
We are already into Week 3 of our SGNA U8 Mini League, created especially to give our 7- and 8-year-old players the game experience they need to develop beyond training.
These young players have been training throughout the year, building their individual netball skills. But learning the skills is only one part of becoming a netball player. You also have to learn how to play the game.
And that happens by getting on court and competing.
In real games, players begin to understand positioning, creating space, working with teammates, supporting each other, stamina, coordination, decision-making and even learning to anticipate where the ball might go next.
Every game brings different situations. Every opponent creates a new challenge. Every mistake becomes another opportunity to learn.
Week 3 was another step on that journey, gaining confidence, understanding the game better and becoming more experienced netball players.
At SGNA, we believe young players need more than weekly training. That’s why we create competitive playing opportunities throughout the year, helping our players gradually become confident and ready to compete in carnivals, leagues and tournaments against other clubs and academies.
Train the skills. Play the game. Build the player. ❤️💛
