In Memory of Sensei Nakanishi Hidetoshi
It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Sensei Nakanishi Hidetoshi, who passed away yesterday.
Sensei Nakanishi was a great friend and supporter of the Singapore Judo Federation and Singapore Judo community. He played an important role in assisting our National Team by arranging training opportunities at Tokai University and Sagami Senior High School in Japan.
He also kindly arranged for four judoka from Tokai University to come to Singapore and train with our National Team. In addition, Sensei Nakanishi conducted a few Judo Technical Seminar for Singapore Judo, generously sharing his knowledge and experience with our judoka and coaches.
His contribution, friendship and support towards the development of Singapore Judo will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
On behalf of the Singapore Judo Federation, we extend our deepest condolences to Sensei Nakanishi’s family, friends, students and the entire Judo community.
May his soul rest in peace.
