Rei Academy Rei Academy is a karate school focusing on training karate-kas from as young as 2.5 years old to 80.

It is also a studio venue available to conduct classes including other martial arts, DM us to find out more!

So proud of our students last weekend!

This was never about medals, it’s about being better than yesterday. Every step onto the tatami reflected growth, courage and heart.

A meaningful start to the season, this local tournament marks a key stepping stone as we build towards much more next few months - the international stage.

Grading day is always special.

It’s not just about belts, but courage, discipline and the quiet confidence built one class at a time.

We are so proud of all our students who stepped onto the mat and gave their best on Sunday. Congratulations!

Thank you Ambassador Ishikawa, Director Kawabe, and Aihara-san for hosting us at the dinner reception with the Nippon Budokan delegation. It was a meaningful evening connecting with practitioners from various Japanese martial arts and exchanging insights. We also had the chance to catch up with one of Singapore’s most senior karate sensei — Shihan Ishikawa.

What a memorable night! And, in a very rare case, not in our gi! 🥋

A huge congratulations to our coaches Jonathan and Zac for their fantastic achievements at the 17th Korea Open Karate Championship in Busan! 🇰🇷

Jonathan earned a well-deserved Silver in the Senior Kata category, while Zac clinched a Gold in Junior Kata and a Silver in the prestigious Best of the Best kata category. 🥇🥈🥈

All of this under the expert leadership of Soke Richard, whose guidance and dedication continue to inspire excellence.

We were honoured to welcome Director Kawabe Akiko and Aihara-san from the Embassy of Japan to our new dojo today! 🇯🇵🥋 It was truly a joy to share our passion for karate with them.

Some of our own Japanese students — the next generation of karatekas — joined in to showcase their skills and spirit! As we continue to grow the community here in Singapore, we’re proud to be part of this journey to spread the spirit of karate.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to support and celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Singapore next year. Stay tuned! 🇯🇵🇸🇬

From tiny warriors to seasoned pros, Rei Academy brought the spirit of karate to life at the new Braddell Heights CC!

Our Little Ninjas kicked things off with big energy, followed by a powerful kata and bunkai showcase by our Elites. Next up — the bo and sai stole the spotlight in a dynamic display of traditional Okinawan weapons. And to top it all off, a board-breaking finale with a twist you definitely didn’t see coming! 🥕🥒

This is Rei Academy — where tradition meets fun, spirit fuels strength, and confidence is built one stance at a time.
