Welcome to the pride of the Singapore Gaelic Lions. The SGL was formed in 1997 and has grown to become one of the largest Gaelic Athletic Association clubs in Asia. Their 300+ members represent Singapore in the sports of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. The membership hail from all over the world, including Asia-Pac, Europe and North America.

We’ve started free training sessions for teenagers! Anyone between the ages of 12 to 18 are welcome to join on Sunday afternoons at St Patrick’s School.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to .patrickssocietysg for selecting as the beneficiary of the auction at last Saturday’s Annual Ball (and for trusting Brendan and Derek to run it!). NCCS leads cancer care, research and prevention in Singapore, bringing hope for a cancer-free future.

With two of our own currently in the midst of cancer journeys, this cause feels especially close to home. It made the evening all the more meaningful to witness such generosity from the Singapore Irish community, coming together to raise an incredible amount for a cause that impacts so many lives.

We were also honoured to have Minister Frank Feighan, and Ambassador Sarah McGrath in attendance on the night.

A special thank you to everyone who donated, bided and supported so generously.

It’s been lovely having a few small ball puck abouts before training recommences properly next week! We’re hoping to send a few teams down to Perth for the 7s (in all 4 codes) in April so if you’re new and want to get involved send us a DM and we’ll get you added to the WhatsApp groups.

2025 - a year for the books. Not possible without the committee who drives it behind the scenes. Join us in January for our next AGM where we’ll look at the year ahead and the new committee. ASIAN GAELIC GAMES 2025 - We did it in 2023, and we’ve only gone and done it again. Asian Senior Champs in all four codes!! Our ladies swept Senior camogie and football for the fourth year running, made even more special as we brought the Lisa Orsi Cup home on the 10th anniversary of her passing. The men’s seniors made it three in a row, and our hurlers reclaimed their title after narrowly missing out last year.

And much to the rest of Asia’s absolute delight, the achievements didn’t stop there – a handful of intermediate and junior finals, plus MVPs and All Stars in the mix. But beyond the silverware, we welcomed a brilliant group of new players taking on their first tournament – some new to the club, some new to GAA entirely. One of our ladies teams who didn’t win a single match last year made it all the way to their cup final. There was endless craic, the odd off pitch red card, a personal hype man, missed flights, Monday Club, and a few very emotional goodbyes to players at their last tournament for SGL.

A serious weekend of sport, and an even better one for the club. Thank you so much to and .gaa 🙏🏼
