Mosaic Tile Repair & Regrouting Works – Completed

As this swimming pool is more than 20 years old, the original mosaic tiles are no longer available in the market. The existing tiles are approximately 5 mm × 5 mm, and this particular size and colour range has long been discontinued.

To carry out the repair as neatly as possible, our team carefully mixed and matched different available tile colours and sizes to achieve the closest possible appearance to the existing mosaic pattern. Where the original 5 mm tiles could not be sourced, we used available 10 mm and 15 mm × 15 mm mosaic tiles, cutting and trimming them piece by piece to suit the existing spaces and surrounding patterns.

The regrouting works have now been completed, together with the patching and replacement of loose or missing mosaic tiles.

The repaired and regrouted areas will now be left to cure properly before any further cleaning, refilling or recommissioning of the pool is carried out. This curing period is important to allow the grout and repaired tile areas to set and achieve the required strength and durability.

Due to the age of the pool and discontinued original materials, slight colour and size differences are unavoidable. Nevertheless, every effort has been made to achieve the best possible matching, finishing and overall appearance using the materials currently available.

Final Touch-Up & Pool System Completion

Final touch-up works are now being carried out to complete the swimming pool works to a professional standard.

All major pipelines and equipment have been properly labelled for easy identification, operation and future maintenance, including pump lines, delivery lines and filtration equipment. This helps ensure the system is clear, organised and easier for the maintenance team to operate and troubleshoot.

The pool and surrounding system are also undergoing final cleaning and housekeeping, including removal of debris and cleaning of the pool surface before final handover.

The system will then be checked to ensure everything is operating properly and that the pool is left clean, neat, clearly labelled and ready for normal operation.

Swimming Pool Cleaning & Preparation for Regrouting – In Progress

High-pressure jet cleaning of the swimming pool surface has been completed to remove dirt, loose grout, algae and other surface deposits.

The pool surface is now being prepared for the next stage of works. Regrouting works will commence tomorrow, including rectification of affected grout joints and patching/replacement of loose or missing mosaic tiles where required.

After the regrouting works are completed, sufficient curing time will be allowed before the pool is cleaned, refilled and recommissioned.

Swimming Pool Regrouting, Equipment & Electrical Repair Works – In Progress

In conjunction with the swimming pool regrouting works, we are also carrying out repair and rectification works to the existing pool equipment, control panel and associated electrical wiring.

The scope of works includes:

* Regrouting of deteriorated/affected areas
* Patching and replacement of loose, missing or damaged mosaic tiles
* Inspection and repair of existing pool pumps and associated pipework
* Rectification of the pool control panel and internal electrical components
* Checking and tidying of existing wiring and connections
* Replacement/repair of defective components where necessary
* Testing of the pool equipment and electrical controls after completion

These works are being carried out together while the pool is drained to minimise downtime and allow the system to be properly inspected and rectified.

Upon completion of the regrouting and repair works, sufficient curing time will be allowed before the pool is refilled, followed by testing and recommissioning of the complete swimming pool system.

Swimming Pool Regrouting & Tile Repair Works – Preparation in Progress

Regrouting and tile repair works for the swimming pool will be carried out shortly. The pool is currently being drained down in preparation for the works.

Once the water has been fully drained, we will proceed with:

* Removal of deteriorated and loose grout
* Regrouting of the affected areas
* Patching/replacement of loose, missing or damaged mosaic tiles
* Necessary surface cleaning and touch-up works

Upon completion, sufficient curing time will be allowed before the pool is refilled and recommissioned.

Fish Pond – Completed & Commissioned

Fish pond installation works have been completed and successfully commissioned.

The filtration and circulation system has been tested and is operating normally. Water circulation through the pond and water feature has been checked, with proper flow and aeration observed. The control system and associated equipment have also been tested to ensure satisfactory operation.

The system is now fully operational and ready to add fishes soon 🐟

Regrouting works have been completed to the swimming pool, including replacement and patching of loose/missing mosaic tiles where possible.

Due to the limited quantity of matching existing mosaic tiles available, the remaining tiles were carefully reused and replaced at the more affected areas, followed by regrouting to restore the overall finishing.

The completed regrouted areas will now be left to properly cure and harden before cleaning, water filling and recommissioning of the swimming pool.

Fish pond electrical control system installed and completed, including the control box, circuit protection, timers, transformers and isolator switch. The timers automate pond equipment operation, while the protective devices provide safe isolation and electrical protection. ⚡🐟🔧

Swimming Pool Mosaic Repair and Regrouting Progress

As part of the repair works, we conducted a thorough inspection of the entire swimming pool and made every effort to salvage and reinstate as many loose or missing mosaic tiles as possible.

In total, our team replaced and patched more than 100 individual mosaic tiles across the pool walls and floor. However, the availability of matching original mosaic tiles was limited, and all available replacement pieces were eventually used.

For the remaining areas where mosaic tiles were loose or missing, and in accordance with the owner’s request to control costs rather than proceed with a complete mosaic replacement, we made good the affected areas and applied grout as the final finish.

This approach provided a practical, cost-saving alternative to full retiling. Within the agreed scope and budget, our team made every effort to restore as much of the existing mosaic surface as possible and achieve the best practical finish.
