Relay Majulah 2026 is Singapore’s year-long community charity campaign, themed 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.

More than a run, Relay Majulah is a community movement that embodies Singapore’s enduring spirit of unity, resilience, and giving. In 2026, this spirit takes on a gentler rhythm — inviting us to slow down, move together, and walk alongside the elderly in our community.

Co-organised by Li Foundation and Lions Clubs Singapore D309, and held in partnership with Sport Singapore, the campaign promotes ultra-slow jogging as an accessible form of movement while raising funds to support Lions Befrienders through Community Chest Singapore, the philanthropic arm of the NCSS Singapore (National Council of Social Service ).

Through Relay Majulah 2026, we slow down, not to fall behind, but to bring everyone along. 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗚𝗼!

📖 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗚𝟲𝟬: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 • 𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁
On 18 May 2026, the Relay Majulah Committee hosted the 𝑅𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑦 𝑆𝐺60: 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 • 𝐼𝑛 𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑡. book launch at Marina Bay Sands, bringing together representatives from all 60 teams of last year's relay. The gathering marked the official launch of the Relay SG60 by Relay Majulah commemorative publication — transforming the memories, stories, and spirit of the 60-hour relay into a lasting keepsake.

Held at the very location where it all began six months earlier, this was a reunion for runners, partners, and supporters who had marked Singapore's SG60 milestone through philanthropy, sport, and community action. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ The book holds the perseverance, the camaraderie, and the moments of teamwork beyond the running track.

The book was jointly unveiled by Li Foundation Founder Lionel Li, Running Club Co-Founder Glen Tan, Tencent 腾讯 Foundation Secretary-General Xiao Liming, NCSS Community Chest Singapore Managing Director Jack Lim, Sport Singapore Director Shawn Lim, and Dr. Ada Xian Zhang, the book’s Editor-in-Chief and Founder of its publisher, A.D.A Productions.

Mr. Xiao reflected on the enduring tradition of compassion within the Chinese community, and shared Tencent Foundation's hope to keep "creating more possibilities for kindness to grow" 🌱 in Singapore.

One by one, representatives from the relay teams came up to receive their copy of the book. 👏 Among them were the runners from Team Relay Majulah 2019, along with teams from philanthropy, finance, education, community organisations, and running groups — including Asia Philanthropy Circle, Asia Community Foundation, WWF-Singapore, J.P. Morgan, LCS Bifrost - 新加坡小虹点狮子会, Julius Baer, Community Foundation of Singapore, and alumni teams from NUS Gobi Runners Group, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Renmin University.

The evening also marked the pre-launch of Relay Majulah 2026, themed "𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮" Organised by Li Foundation, Zephyr Running Club, and Lions Club Singapore, in partnership with Community Chest, Sport Singapore, and Lions Befrienders, the 2026 edition will bring "ultra-slow jogging" into the neighbourhood — a gentle way for more seniors to stay active and stay connected. Joining the pre-launch were Lawrence Sew Lawrence Sew, DGE of Lions Club Singapore and Vice Chairman Nancy Quek (Lions Befrienders). 🤝 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗚𝗼!

As we look ahead to 2026, the spirit first embodied through Relay Majulah and Relay SG60 continues to grow, connecting communities through running, strengthening bonds through shared purpose, and reminding us that acts of kindness, like batons, are meant to be passed forward.
