Mission Objective:
🌊 Successful and Safely explored all the Besar 7 Islands.
We will be back next year. Join us if you want a historical adventure.

Underway:
We were all ready to reach the mainland before the tide receded.
All kayaks and equipment were loaded on board our es**rt boat to ensure timely return.
Gears were washed and reloaded into our vehicle at the boat jetty.
We headed for Brunch before heading for home.

Mission Objective: 🌊 Exploring the Four Sentinel and Pisang Isles

Underway:
Visited all the four Sentinels and islands landed on have pristine beaches and clean coves. I am amazed that there were no litter.

These islands were used as navigational landmarks when Ancient Sailiors on the Sea Silk Route travelled through the Straits of Malacca.
Besar Island privided deep water berth, food and water. Traces of human inhabitation were evident by the old graves and wells.

Mission Objective: 🌊 Exploring the Four Sentinel and Pisang Isles

Underway:
At the break of dawn, an orange orb rose over the horizon, a photographer’s dream: the Golden Egg.

We geared up and launched, rounding the headland that had stopped us the night before.

Ahead stood the islands, ancient sentinels of the sea, guiding mariners to their shores for centuries.

Making landfall was an overwhelming moment. I was finally touching shores once known to ancient mariners.

Location: Pulau Besar

Mission Objective: 🌊 Twilight Circumnavigation of Besar Island

Underway:
This journey began when I was fourteen years old.
Some dreams simply refuse to grow old.

We made preparations to paddle around Beasr Island at night.
Each Kayak was illuminated and head torchs were carried.
After everyone was acclimatised to darkness we paddled into the twilight zone.

This crossing tested every paddler.
The large expanse of water was daunting to the uninitiated.
The confidence exuded by the Expedition Leader Terence rubbed off on everyone..
