Great news from our Honbu Dojo — our conditioning bag has been repaired and upgraded!
What was once a single layer is now reinforced with two layers, making it more durable and solid than ever.

Already put to the test by Sensei Eddie and Sensei Suzuki's students! 💪

We hope this inspires more students to train hard, condition their Shin, and grow stronger every day.

Yesterday marked Kawano san’s final class in Singapore.

Seven years ago, she stepped into Kyokushin Karate as a complete beginner. The journey toward earning her black belt was certainly not an easy one. Yet along the way, she achieved remarkable milestones including competing in kumite at the Asia Tournament and winning the kata division at the SFC. These accomplishments are a true reflection of her determination and strength of character.

Even after becoming a mother and facing the many changes and responsibilities that come with family life, she continued to make time for training and remained committed to the dojo. That attitude earned the respect of many members and served as an inspiration to others.

Karate is not only about becoming stronger physically, but also about continuously refining oneself as a person. I believe she truly embodied that spirit.

I hope she can continue to pursue the path of Karate even after returning to Japan.
I sincerely hope our paths will cross again someday in the dojo.

Kawasaki san, congratulations on your promotion to 2nd dan!
It’s hard to believe that nearly eight years have passed since you joined our dojo in 2017.
You’ve trained with unwavering dedication, rarely missing class, and have continued full-contact sparring without injury—truly a superhuman feat.
Now, to have reached 2nd dan at the age of 67 is nothing short of extraordinary.
Please continue to serve as an inspiration to your fellow students, and take good care of your health as you continue to walk the path of Kyokushin! Osu
