KRS will be restarting our Cricket Coaching at SIA Sports Club on Friday 26 June 2020.

Please note that due to the risk of COVID 19, we will only allow players and families from KRS to use our facility

Our facility at Tanglin Trust School remains closed till Mid August 2020.

We intend to start competitions once it becomes immediately safe to do so. Please stay safe and patient.

Cricket Coaching for Kids and Youth

As part of our drive to help Kids and Youth Cricketers In Singapore, We have collaborated with Singapore Airlines Group Sports Club to build new and improved training facilities.

This will
further enhance our program where all our age group players will get to train in top notch facilities at Tanglin Trust School and SIA to prepare them for their various competitions organised by KRS.

We have ongoing sessions at SIA and will be adding new sessions.

YPL CRICKET COMPETITIONS 2019

2019 was a great year for KRS in all YPL Competitions
Our Under 11s won both the YPL Competitions in Season 1 with Rising Stars also winning the Season 2 Competition.

Our Under 13s lost to NPSI in the final. Format was 30 overs.
We also organised an elite Under 13 competition (35 Overs)
We saw many brilliant performances and a maiden hundred scored by Adiwitya Bargava.

Our Under 15s won the YPL U 15 T20 by defeating NPSI in a nail biter.

We are also very proud to have co-organised a YPL International Competition for both our u12 and u 14 teams.
We sent 2 teams each for both categories.

Sidd Srikanth was named player of the tournament with his amazing Batting scoring 5 50s including 3 scores in the 90s.
A***n Modi Scored 101 not out in our first game in u14s.
Nayaz bowled extremely well including one game where he took 5 wickets.

Our U14s All stars make the semi final where they lost a tight match to GenNext by 2 wickets.
Rising Stars were extremely to miss out by Net Run Rate of 0.2.

KRS All Stars exceed all expectations by winning the U12 Competition(30overs). They beat GenNext (Ravi Ashwin's Academy)
in a Super Over.Mr. Aswin was watching the final via a live feed and our boys were able to say helot him. Kabir Berlia being the hero by hitting a six on the Penultimate ball and one more in the Super Over for Good Measure.
Sidd Shankar bowled a great super over to defend 12 comfortably.

Rising Stars u 12 were extremely unlucky not to make the semi final missing out on NRR.

All in all it was great exposure and I am positive the players will come back better and stronger.

Most of our players played in excess of 20 competitive games in 2019. We intend to add more competitions in 2020.

For 2020.

YPL T20 will start on 24 Feb for both U14s and U16s.
YPL Under 11 (25 overs for both divisions will start on
23 February.
YPL Under 13 (35overs will start on 23 February.

Here is an update on the next few matches played by our boys.
26 December 2019:
Under 14 Rising Stars VS Gen X
Gen X won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 179 after their 29 overs with Harsh and Aditya getting 1 wicket each and Anshul getting 2 wickets. Unfortunately, Rising Stars were all out for 87 with Ritesh scoring 22 and Aditya scoring 21.

Under 14 All Stars VS Alfred
All Stars won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a score of 183 at the end of their 30 overs with Sid scoring 79. They then came out to defend this and got the opposition all out for 36. Sarvesh got 2 wickets, Shanmugam got 3 wickets and Nayaz got 5 wickets.

Under 12 Rising Stars VS CCA
CCA won the toss and elected to bat first posting a target of 110 with Pranav taking 1 wicket, Aarav taking 2 wickets and Adwait taking 4 wickets. Unfortunately, they fell short of their target and were all out for 96, losing by 14 runs.

Under 12 All Stars VS GEN X
GEN X won the toss and elected to bat. They were restricted to 97 runs for 8 wickets. Akshay and Kabir took 1 wicket each and Sid took 2. Unfortunately, they fell short of their target by 1 runs, getting bowled out for 96. Ramsharan top scored with 33.

27 December 2019:
Under 14 Rising Stars VS Karur
Karur won the toss and elected to bat first posting a target of 141 runs with Satvik, Raghu, Anshul and Harsh taking 1 wicket each. The team fell short of the target by 3 runs but Aditya put in his best effort scoring 48 runs.

Under 14 All Stars VS GEN X
All Stars won the toss and elected to bat first posting 109 runs with Pranav scoring 30 and Shanmugam scoring 21. The team was unable to defend this target and had just 4 balls to spare losing by 2 wickets. Sarvesh, Nayaz, Aarav, Kishore and Shanmugam took 1 wicket and Mahiyu took 2 wickets.

Under 12 Rising Stars VS KEDAR
KRS won the toss and elected to bat first posting 148 runs with Adwait and Atiksh scoring 28 each. The team was able to defend their total restricting the opposition to 118 with Pranav, Anirudh and Adwait taking 1 wicket each.

Under 12 All Stars VS CCA
KRS All Stars won the toss and elected to bat first posting 115 with Sahil scoring 41 and Akshay scoring 22. They were able to defend this getting the opposition all out for 60 with Sid, Ramsharan and Akshay taking 1 wickets each and Mani and Kabir getting 2 winning by 55 whole runs.

Our KRS teams, playing in the International Tour of Chennai, consisting of 2 u14 and 2 u12s played their first competition games today.

The Rising Stars team of under 14 won the toss and elected to bat first. The top scorer of the team was A***n Modi playing a brilliant knock of 101 not out guiding the team to a score of 176 to defend in their 35 overs. The bowlers did their part with Aarohan, Veer, Raghu and Aharnish taking one wicket each and Harsh, Anshul and Aditya taking 2 wickets each eventually getting the opposition all out for 136 winning by 40 runs.
MAN OF THE MATCH - A***N MODI

The second under 14 team, All Stars also won the toss electing to bat first. Their batting had a collapse and their top scorer was Sid scoring 28 but unfortunately the team was all out for 108. The opposition managed to chase this without losing a wickets in 13 overs winning the game by 10 wickets.
MAN OF THE MATCH - AADITHYA

The under 12 team of All Stars won the toss and elected to bat presenting a goof score of 136 with Akshay scoring a 50 and Kabir supporting him with 33. They were able to defend their score with Sid and Ishan taking one wicket each, Vivaan taking 2 and Ramsharan taking 4, getting the opposition all out for 117.
MAN OF THE MATCH - RAMSHARAN

The last under 12 team of Rising Stars won the toss and elected to bowl first, getting the team all out for just 66. Pranav took 3 wickets, Mason getting 2 and Anirudh and Roshan taking 1. They were able to chase this down in 13 overs with Aahan top scoring with 25 and winning the man of the match award.
