It was later renamed as Singapore Baseball & Softball Association (SBSA) in 1998 and remain as it is till now. SBSA objective is to uphold, as the Singapore national governing organization for baseball and softball, the rules of baseball and softball as adopted by the World Baseball & Softball Confederation (WBSC), Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) and the Softball Asia (SA) which are the international authorities;

To encourage, promote, develop and control the game of Baseball and or Softball in Singapore;

To promote and arrange local and overseas baseball and/or softball competitions for the benefit of affiliated clubs, associations and teams;

To promote better understanding and to integrate and strengthen the spirit of friendship between one another, through baseball and softball; and To advance and safeguard generally the interests of the game of baseball and/or softball, and to employ the funds of the Association for this purpose. Excelling in baseball & softball fundamentals.

Every great player remembers the coach who believed in them. Now it's your turn to make that difference.

If you've spent years on the diamond and are ready to give back to the sport, the SG-Coach Level 1 Technical (Softball) 2026 course is the perfect place to begin your coaching journey.

Who Can Apply?

✔️ 18 years old and above
✔️ Minimum 3 years of softball playing experience
✔️ Proficient in English
✔️ Medically fit for light physical activities
✔️ Submit and pass the Skills Test (video submission)
✔️ Standard First Aid + CPR/AED certification (if available)
✔️ $20 registration fee (offsets the course fee)

22 August 2026 (Saturday)
🕘 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

23 August 2026 (Sunday)
🕘 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

13 September 2026 (Sunday)
📝 Assessment
🕣 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
(Amendment- the Assessment date has been moved up to 6th Sept instead. )

Minimum of 10 participants is required for the course to commence.

💲 Course Fee

SG-Coach Level 1 Technical (Softball): $440

✅ Course Completion Requirements

✔️ 100% attendance for all face-to-face sessions
✔️ Complete all required deliverables within the stipulated deadline
✔️ Pass all assessments

📌 Please Note

This course covers the Technical Component of the SG-Coach Level 1 pathway.

To complete SG-Coach Level 1, participants must also complete:
• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED
• SG-Coach Level 1 Theory Programme
• Foundational Sport Science modules

📅 The schedule for the First Aid/AED, Theory and Sport Science components will be announced at a later date.

• Photos and videos taken during the course may be used for future promotional purposes.

WOMEN'S FAST PITCH OPEN 2026

2 weekends of competition, determination and high-level softball came to a close as the Women's Fast Pitch Open 2026 concluded on 21 June.

Teams battled across 13, 14, 20 and 21 June, delivering quality performances and competitive matchups throughout the tournament. When the final out was recorded, it was MLXG who emerged as champions, capping off an impressive campaign to claim the 2026 title.

🥈 Runners-up: Maiko
🥉 3rd Place: Cudas
🏅 4th Place: Sukma Johor

Individual excellence was also recognised following outstanding performances throughout the competition.

Good news, teams! Due to overwhelming interest, registration for the SBSA Slowpitch Softball Tournament 2026 has been extended.

Five days of competition, learning and unforgettable memories came to a close as the SBSA U12 Tournament 2026, held in partnership with the Singapore Youth Olympic Festival (SYOF), concluded on 8 June.

From Wednesday to Sunday, young athletes took to the field with determination, sportsmanship and a passion for the game, showcasing the bright future of baseball and softball in Singapore.

performances across the tournament — as teams battled through challenging weather conditions that never once dampened the competitive spirit on the field.

SRC emerged champions after an unbeaten campaign, finishing at the top of the standings with dominant performances throughout the series. Pentagon Titans secured second place after an impressive tournament run, while SG Masters completed the podium in third. Limpeh Sluggers finished fourth after a spirited campaign of their own.

Individual honours also highlighted the quality displayed across the competition.

Bayden Wang ( #50) of Limpeh Sluggers was named Best Batter after recording an outstanding OPS of 2.458 across four games and 12 plate appearances.

SRC’s Euan Foo ( #63) earned Best Pitcher honours after delivering seven innings across two games without conceding a single earned run, finishing the tournament with a 0.00 ERA and a WHIP of 1.0.

From heavy rain to high-pressure moments, the tournament showcased the resilience, competitiveness and growing standard of the local softball scene.
