Time to post this again!

1. Going to Starbucks or your favorite coffee shop for a super latte whatever? Bam there are 200-600 extra calories. Many patients say oh I just had a coffee. Nope! It was a calorie bomb.

2. “Healthy” snacks like trail mixes. If you were able to get the right amount (maybe a serving per day) this wouldn’t be an issue. Except when we grab a handful we usually get a few servings (or a few handfuls). This adds up quickly!

3. Your cheesy dressing ladened salad is likely not low calorie. Don’t let it fool you!

4. So you weighed out your chicken nuggets, but you forgot the ketchup. And you love every nuggie bathing in ketchup. Hey it’s no Frappuccino, but it can also add up.

5. Don’t forget the sauces on your meats. Also don’t forget that fatty meats can increase calorie intake by a lot. Combine these two like in bbq ribs and there goes 1000 calories.

6. I like chips. I also like a small handful while I’m cooking because I’m hungry and they are sometimes in the cabinet looking at me. My patients do it too. So do some of you. Lol!

This doesn’t mean you can’t have any of these things. It just means to be aware especially if your goal is to lose weight. ❤️❤️❤️
