This week's Technique Tuesday is brought to you by Coach Shah from Anytime Fitness Pasir Panjang, sharing tips on one of the most effective upper-body exercises — the Machine Chest Press.

The Machine Chest Press is a great exercise for building chest strength and confidence, especially for beginners and members looking to train with added stability and control.

✅ Key Benefits:
• Targets the chest, shoulders, and triceps effectively
• Provides a controlled movement pattern for safer strength training
• Helps improve upper-body pushing strength

⚠️ Common Mistakes:
• Locking out the elbows aggressively at the end of the movement
• Lifting the shoulders and losing proper posture
• Using excessive weight that compromises form

🔥 Coach Shah's Top Tips:
• Adjust the seat so the handles align with the middle of your chest
• Keep your shoulders down and back throughout the movement
• Press with control and avoid letting the weight stack slam down
