🥋 Thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but not sure where to start?

Our new BJJ Foundations Course is designed specifically for complete beginners — no previous martial arts experience required.

Over 8 structured weeks, you’ll learn the foundations of BJJ step by step, including:

• How to move, fall and train safely
• Balance, breakfalls & takedowns
• Guard & guard passing
• Control, frames & escapes
• Back control & safe submissions
• How to connect positions under controlled resistance

You’ll also receive supporting video materials and detailed online instructions, so you can review what you’ve learned between classes.

Our goal is simple: give you a strong foundation, build your confidence on the mats, and prepare you to transition comfortably into our regular Beginner Classes.

👕 No Gi required — just wear comfortable sportswear.
📅 Starts Friday, 2 October 2026
⏰ Every Friday, 7:00–8:30 PM

📢 MEMBERSHIP PRICING UPDATE

From 1 January 2027, we will be introducing a small adjustment to our membership fees.

As our operating costs continue to increase, this adjustment will help us maintain the quality of our classes, facilities, and overall training experience.

But we have some good news for our existing members. 🙌

🥋 CURRENT ACTIVE MEMBERS
Your current membership rate will remain unchanged for the entire year of 2027.

The new pricing will take effect:

📅 New members — 1 January 2027
📅 Current active members — 1 January 2028

So if you're already an active member of GJJS, you'll keep your current rate for one more full year.

We’re officially settled into our new home, and everything is back in full swing!

Kids, adults, beginners and experienced students — the mats are busy again, classes are running as usual, and it feels great to see everyone training together in our new space.

Thank you to all our members and families for your patience and support throughout the move. Now it’s back to what we do best — learning, training and growing together. 🙏
