We’re delighted to welcome Rezan to the Focus team as our new Sports Massage Therapist.

With a background in physiotherapy and a passion for helping people move well, Rezan combines a strong understanding of anatomy, movement and hands-on therapy to tailor every session to your individual needs.

Whether you’re dealing with tight shoulders from long hours at the desk, recovering from training, or simply looking to move with greater ease, sports massage can be a valuable complement to your movement practice. Our Unravel the Thoracic Spine workshop with Dan is happening on 25 July, and we’d love to see you there!

The thoracic spine plays a huge role in movement quality, yet it can often be one of the trickiest areas to improve. In this hands-on workshop, Dan will share practical strategies to help you facilitate mobility using the mat, small props and studio equipment. We’ll explore different positioning, blocking and cueing techniques that you can apply immediately to your own practice and client sessions.

This workshop was very well received at the Polestar Asia Conference in Thailand and this will be our first and only run of the year.

From Singapore to Mumbai! 🇸🇬✈️🇮🇳

What an incredible experience for our team to be part of the very first Polestar Comprehensive Teacher Training course in Mumbai.

Our Head Instructor and Senior Polestar Educator, Daniel, had the pleasure of teaching one of the modules and was inspired by the thoughtful questions and enthusiasm of the trainees.

Joining him was Polestar Mentor, Julie, who assisted throughout the course. Together, they experienced not only the joy of teaching, but also the warmth and energy of Mumbai’s growing movement community!

Education has always been at the heart of Polestar, and it is exciting to witness the global community continue to grow 💚

Pronation and supination aren’t “good” or “bad” movements - they’re both essential parts of healthy gait! 👣

In this reel, we’re taking these concepts off the textbook page and into a real moving body to show you when and where pronation and supination naturally happen as we walk.

Pronation helps the foot adapt, absorb force, and connect us to the ground. Supination helps create stability and efficiency for push-off.

The problem usually isn’t that one exists - it’s when the body struggles to transition between them smoothly. Understanding why these movements happen can completely change the way you look at feet, posture, movement, and even common injuries.
