An exciting new opportunity awaits you! Join our upcoming Technical Official (TO) Community Level 1 and Level 2 course(s) organised by Triathlon Singapore (TAS) and be part of the excitement and thrill of the Olympic Sport of Triathlon! To support the growing number of Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquathlon events in Singapore, TAS is calling all interested individuals to register for these courses. Prior experience in the Sport of Triathlon, Duathlon and/or Aquathlon is not required but encouraged. Participants will gain knowledge of the history of Triathlon, safety procedures for events, competition rules, the various roles of TOs, the importance of TOs and the career pathway of TOs leading up to the international level. Technical Official Community Level 1 Course (CL 1)
*Open to all persons aged 16 and above.
* Minimum 5 sign-ups required to start the course.
Date: 23 Jan 2021 (Saturday)
Time: 9am-5pm
Location: VLC via Zoom Platform
Course Fees: S$50 (Includes TAS round neck t-shirt)

For this course, participants will be expected to complete an open book online assignment within 1 month of attending the course to be awarded the CL 1 certification.

Technical Official Community Level 2 Course (CL 2)
*Open to all persons aged 16 and above.
* Minimum 5 sign-ups required to start the course.
Date: 06 March 2021 (Saturday) & 07 March 2021 (Sunday)
Time: 9am-5pm (Sat) & 9am – 5pm (Sun)
Location: VLC via Zoom Platform
Course Fees: S$70 (Includes TAS Polo T-shirt & Lanyard)

For this course, participants will be expected to complete an open book online assignment within 1 month of attending the course and officiate mini-events sanctioned by TAS to be awarded the CL 2 certification.

Package Deal!
TAS will be offering a package deal for all those interested in becoming a Technical Official. If you register for both courses together, you are entitled to a package discount.
TAS is offering both the CL 1 and CL 2 courses at a flat rate of S$110 (Includes TAS Round neck t-shirt, TAS Polo T-shirt & Lanyard). There are limited slots so please register as soon as possible!

Exemptions
Do take note that if you are a Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) PE Teacher, a parent of a Triathlete competing at the national level, a national Triathlete or an event organiser, you are exempted from taking the CL 1 course and can progress directly to CL 2 (subject to verification of your credentials by TAS). If you fall within any of these categories, kindly send in your accreditations showing proof of your exemption to [email protected].
